After reading this thread and experiencing the same "sorry ass FPS" with my monster rig I was disappointed. .,,,,,,then I thought..???? something not right here? The frame rate was horrible at the desktop res? 1920x1080. Come on I thought and almost ripped CMSF from my HD in frustration. But I remembered the increase in frames from one comp to another from before so I scratched my head,...??? Then I booted up the game at the UI res (much lower). Still laggy,....what! I thought? So then I rebooted again at the desktop max and wouldn`t you know it,.....wahla nice and smooth as you would expect. Seems funny but it worked,.....CMSF goodness as one would expect. Not sure of the frames now but who cares its glassy smooth at full max settings with AA. Weird Stuff,..hope it helps some.

I love my Strykers, especially the 40mm grenade launcher for supressing hard points.

I have the game Shock Force. I was a fan of the originals which I think are one of the best tacticals out there. Since the 107 patch I really do love the game (CMSF). I realize it must be tough to pull off this type of game so I offer my congratulations to the developers and am happy to support them. I have seen the odd pick that looks real good that are obviously a (GFX mod) of some sort so does anyone have any reliable links to them? Thanks Jethro21

How do you turn off shadows? There doesn`t appear to be a specific reference for it. Jethro21

Funny thing,when I first installed CMSF every thing seemed fine in terms of GFX (Paradox Version Retail). Now since the various patches I get no soldiersm They don`t show up eg: when they exit the vehicles. Really like the game however. What GFX drivers are people using for Nvidea? I have a 7600GT.
