  4. Hello, just got ToW, I'm more accustomed to turn-based wargames, and as thus ToWs style of real-time pausable play feels very unfamilliar to me! I was wondering if anyone had any good guides/tips/tricks/strategies they could share for the game overall! Thanks in advance for any helpful reply!
  5. Wait, do you mean if I play on Regular(I.e. without cheating AI), I will not get fully realistic simulations of ballistics and morale? Been playing on Veteran myself too and was getting kinda confused as to why these ordinary German infantry soldiers would spot my hidden sniper so quickly as he was crawling towards'em. Thanks for any reply!

  7. So I just bought ToW1+the Mission Pack after having played the demo years ago, now I've download ToW1+Mission Pack+UberPatch. I saw this ModPack from 1C and Battlefront, but I'm confused, should I download it if I don't wish to design any mods/missions myself, and only play the ready-made ones and use the battle generator? Hello, most of you will probably consider this a weird question but I was wondering if its possible in any form to pit the AI against the AI in the CMx1 games, before I started playing CM I played the Steel Panthers games mostly, whilst I know they're far from exactly the same, they are still wargames and with a particular flavor for armored combat. Anyway, my question is if there is any mods, any form to modify the game myself, to allow AI vs AI combat, I'm one of those nerds that sometimes get pleasure from just studying the AI behaviour in games, especially in strategy games. Thanks for any answer!

  10. Hello, I've decided to do a mass 'install' and 'mod install' of CMBO, CMBB and CMAK, I've gotten CMBO modded to the point where I'm happy with it, thought I'd start with CMBB right now! I'm looking for any recommendations on mods focused on enhancing the historical accuracy of Russian and German vehicles+troops, Finnish ones would be a plus too! I'd appreciate any help, especially names etc, I'm registered as CMMods but find the whole task of looking through it a bit daunting!

Thanks for your help dude, so far what I did was install CMMOS 4.03+Axis rulesets+Allies rulesets+all GEM mods for Axis and Allies, and got them all up and working functionally, I can't seem to find the Semiotics and Darknight's 21st Army Group mods on CMHQ, but it's 11 PM over here so its probably just because I'm tired, I'll try looking again in the morning, thanks for your post dude, VERY helpful!! My plan is to play through CMBO until I get tired of it, then move onto CMBB and finally CMKA, and inbetween that I have dug up my copies of the Close Combat series that I am also playing.
