I compared the Packages of CBFI and CMBN and found the problem. Maps and scenarions are saved in the Package Folder "Game Files". Due to my localisation (german) the install process created the Package Folder "Spieldateien" and left this one empty, while putting all Maps in the "Game Files" folder. After copying the Data from "Game Files" to "Spieldateien" the game seems to work properly.

Is there an estimation as to when it will go gold?

It has been some time since the announcement of the CMSF for Mac. That announcement was then taken down and now the second release of another game is promoted (even with taking pre-orders, which were planned to run for CMSF already). Is CMSF for Mac now officially dead?

Announcement of Mac OSX Version for CMSF
cmezriczky replied to cmezriczky's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
I understood the AppStore Text on CMBN that the release of CMSF will also be done via the AppStore or will both Options be possible? -
The Announcement of Mac OSX Version for CMSF has disappeared. Has the release been postponed or has it been cancelled?

Vehicle movment problem after patch.

I wanted to address this issue again since I am having this problem too: There are obviously two Updates 1.01 to download with the same filename (which doesn´t help troubleshooting, an "a" added would have helped). One is the size 50,5 MB which destroys the clean install and one 50,9 MB which has the movement bug and the problem with the arrow keys. The movement bug affects not all vehicles (which is interesting), but I can not trace which vehicles are affected. -
I am following the MAC Version Issue for CMSF for some time. Since my PC died one and a half year ago I am sticking with may MacBook Pro only. And everytime someone asks about a OSX native version the answer is: Hey use Boot Camp. But I don´t want to use Boot Camp mainly because I don´t want to buy a second OS just to play a game and I don´t want a second OS taking up hard-disk space. So a native OSX Version would really be fine....

I have an 2002 DELL System too, but changed to a ATI Graphics Card (256 MB). 1.03 is running fine, also my old campaign save ran fine... -
V1.03 Troops Can't Exit Stryker

Did you have to restart campaign after the update? -
Go for RAM. I have an old 2MHZ Pentium 4 but 1 GIG RAM and running fine... Maybe a bigger Graphics Card would help too...

Doesn´t anybody know what happens to saved games after the update?

Question about running windows on bootcamp
cmezriczky replied to skelley's topic in Combat Mission: Shock Force Tech Support
I don´t have a dual core mac, but as far as I have understood the CTO variants it should have 2 Bays with 2 GIG each to come with 4 GIG RAM. Maybe thats why... -
No news on this issue?

I have a question concerning Update 1.02: If I update from 1.01 Battlefront Version to 1.02 Battlefront Version will my Campaign Save Game Files be lost? Because except from the Adjust Fire Bug for Arty Support which is not adressed in 1.02 I don´t have any problems. So I might skip this update if my Campaign Files are lost.
