  1. Yep, really bad idea, im currently playing a scenario with some Brit armoured cars involved using them and some scout troops to move ahead down the road with my main infantry force not too far behind.... All of a sudden panzerschreks start flying from the bottom end of the road, all of the shots either falling short or going over and landing behind, which has managed to take the life of one of my pixeltruppen in the main infantry force and one man from my scout team. Lesson learnt!
  2. Pretty sure you can nail them with HE area fire from a tank, havent done it for a while so I cant remember whether: a) It actually worked or It was just a crazy idea that failed so miserably I chose to forget the outcome I know its cruel to the pixeltruppen, but if they will waste my sqauds time over more than 5 turns, they are asken for a blasten >:-) In the CW module you dont need to worry about surrendering, because so far the axis forces you come across appear to be mainly SS and Hitler Youth, which just do not give up at all, so no feeling guilty about a bit of HE tidy up!

  4. Xian is trying to say he can't call arty on a building where he can only see the second floor
  5. Just a quick question related to this... If I bail crew from an ATG during a campaign, is the ATG lost from the campaign roster? I dont mind in single battles, but always reluctant to do it in a campaign..
  6. It would be interesting to see from the axis side whether the unit leader name is Norris...
  7. I know thats annoying mate, but I have to say the way you put that just made me fall out of my chair laughing. Its almost like a comedy sketch or a roadrunner cartoon Made my day!
  8. Yeah placing a waypoint outside the door tends to help getting the men to go in the right way. However, be cautious if that house\building you are entering has not be surveyed for enemy presence. putting a waypoint right outside the the door can spell death for a whole sqaud, because they will stop briefly and reorg before moving to the waypoint inside the house, which leaves them as sitting ducks! If you believe the enemy may be present, make sure you are getting some covering fire on that building and place the waypoint a little further back, preferably near cover, before placing the entering waypoint.
  9. No, seems a shame, but at least we can now re-crew abandoned tanks and crew halftrack mgs with random swayed when the gunner takes a hit!
  10. LOL we've all had one of those moments mate, good drills!!
  11. Wow possibly the most useful post ive seen all year! Thanks!
