Well folks it seems that 1C had the server up for almost a week. Now it is down again. PLEASE 1C keep the server up and keep ToW alive. I lov this game and we need the server to find others who wish to play. Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter. JMayer

WOW I just tried the online server for ToW and to my suprise it was UP. Thanks 1C I only hope it is still up when I am able to play. I am going to be playing around 2pm PST today hope to see you all there. Thanks agian for starting the server 1C.

OK what's going on?? Is this the way 1C is going to treat ToW2 also?? I have been a suporter of this game from the start and now it seems that not even 1C will back it up. This game is getting really good with the JSH mods and now there is no Server to locate any players. So if this is the way ToW 2 is going to be I may have second thoughts of buying it. Sorry but I believe you should keep your games up to date and keep you server up as well. Thanks for letting me rant.

Thanks Moon, but when were you going to ask them to fix it? We now have a few players but can't play due to not seeing games. I still lov this game and want others to enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks again for getting it back up .

Hello all, 1C please set up the server so we can play. We finially get people to play online and your sever is down again... We love the game and are trying to get more involed in the game but your server is going down more and more and isn't helping to keep people interested in the game. well I am not sure but I don't see any campaign called bulldogs in my game? I put the bulldogs folder into my missions folder but looked ingame at all missions and campainges but still no bulldog? Please tell me why that is?

Gnasher, I put it into the main folder of ToW. I now see a bulldogs folder in main. I doint see a campaign though when I play the game. Is that right?

Dano, I understand your frustration. I had the same problems when I started this game (although it had issues when I started playing it, Now fixed thank God). Give it some time and watch that you dont' select your units and the hold fire or hold possition button goes out. I made the space bar my hold possition that way if they start to move I just hit space and they hold. Try it a few times you will see it starts to play just as you would hope it would. I use Team Speak if you feel like joining it we could play co op game online. TS addy is 69.42.7.2:8767 same goes for anyone out there that plays ToW. Join in

It would be nice if you would put some load instructions with it so one might know where to put it? It has been long time sence I have played this game but I keep coming back to it because it truely still is the only game that is skill orientated instead of eye hand or finger operated. Hello All, Well it's been awhile sence my last post. I agree with others here that ToW is a Great Game. I have not played it in a few months due to the fact no one is ever around to play. I say this I just played the game vs AI and It is Truely a work of art. I play my own missions and the ai is truely wonderfull at attacking and defending. This game is best played with extended time limits I usually play mine at 1 hour matches. This allows you to take your time and set up your men and to select the men and units you wish to command. I still havn't found any game that gives me the chance to play a war like ToW does. In closing I am saying that 1C has a perfect game here with a few slight additions. Please don't let this game fall by the way side. When you finally find the right mix you will make Millions, the question being will you keep trying to find the right mix. Maybe you should contact me as to what I have in mind you have my email address feel free to ask if you like. Just don't give up it is the beginning of a Mulit-Million dollar game.

Billy Riley, To answer your question as to why you couldn't get LoS on enemy. First thing is that the Tiger haveing a larger gun then most didn't have the ability to get lower angles that other tanks had. Hull down possitions for tigers are not easy because of that factor. The gun just won't lower enough to get the hull down shot unless it is shooting at a target far off. Next time try hauling down from a farther off posistion and see if that helps you.
