  1. Yes, Artillery on map would be highly unrealistic and the idea of mortar groups on screen has already been talked over very much... What would be nice for an add on would be a 17pdr and an 88mm flack gun for the early German campaigns
  2. Every thing's fine now (I probably should have tried that earlier). Thanks again.
  3. OK, today I installed the Uber patch (yay!) and began the game. I changed the screen resolution to 1440x900 and then tired to begin the Panzer Lehr campaign. However, once I tried to begin a battle, the game shut itself off. I tired other battles, but there's the same outcome. I have windows Vista. Also: whenever I begin the game it asks me if would like to change the screen resolution. This isn't very important, but is slightly annoying. Thanks in advance. Edit: I got the latest video card updates, which has solved the battles problem. Still not sure why it asks if I want to change my screen res though... 4. Yes, it seems to happen a lot more then hull being penetrated... which is odd, because the tanks had massive amounts of armour around the gun, compared to the hull. However, on the Dunkirk mission, I found it easy to knock out the Renault FT17 or ...err ... disable his gun.
  5. I'd like that... Maybe we haven't be given it, b/c the Germans made the tanks in the first place
  6. 1. German 88mm flack & British 17pdr 2. Some aircraft with rockets (Typhoon, IL-2,P-47, etc)/anti-tank guns (Stuka, Ju-88 with 88mm,Hs 129, etc) 3. An option for you and the enemy to retreat from hopeless battles.
  7. I'd like to trade in my air-ground attack calls for a Star Destroyer planetary bombardment, please. And can I have Darth Vader to come with me onto the battlefield? Thx.
  8. That was a marvelous video. Really amazing! To much for words to describe, as was your invasion of Poland video. I'm curious as to where you got the Stuka action though. Same with the He111's in your invasion of Poland video. Were they from ToW, some other game, or a mix?
  9. I think that the browns, reds, and beige colours go well with the general colours of the game. A bright green or blue would sort of ruin the style.
  10. Yeah, same with me. First I was like WOW!!!!! This is AWESOME!!! Then I got beaten a few times, got annoyed and started thinking of all the game's bad bits. Soon I tried it again; now I think it's awesome again.
  11. I've noticed that too... I have to admit, when I tell my tanks to shoot a spot where I know there's an AT gun, I look for the dead bodies as a sign to stop shooting.
  12. Oh, and an Italian fraction could be added also, but that may be too much to ask for.
  13. If an expansion with two desert campaigns, one British & one German, was made I would buy it. Being English forces, struggling to hold off a German attack until reinforcements came, would be awesome! Miles of desert with nothing to block LoS or LoF, yay! And perhaps some Tunisian street battles!
  14. Yeah, but it was really cool to watch!
  15. Although the PzIV ausf. C did have a 75mm gun, because of its extremely short barrel it had a very low muzzle velocity and therefor very low armour piercing value. During the early German campaign, they were only used against soft targets. The PzIII , with a longer barreled gun, was used against armour. Really I think neither the early Panzer IV nor Panzer III should be able to pierce the thick T-34 armour; hence the reason Germany designed the Panther and Tiger tanks.
