  1. So strange with some posts here, its like we are playing a different game. What you are describing never ever happend to me. Could it be dificulty setting that sorta cheats for the AI then? What difficulty are you on? I have been playing mostly on easy as a matter of fact. </font>
  2. I beginning to see *some* logic here. Target a tank with a colored icon that appears to be blocked and go to birds eye. Sure enough you can't see through some trees and what might appear to even be part of a bldg. Now go to a top down view and follow the orange fire arrow. Almost always it IS clearing through obstacles and goes through some edges of trees. As I posted before, trees do not block LOS in real life. Just as I had checked a lot of LOS I found the orange arrow going through a bldg. However I was not hitting him but he me and he was on a slight hill. [/QB]</font>
  3. It is an interesting game. It needs some work. For example, allow flak to attack ground targets. The US quad 50 doesn't seem to want to shoot at infanty.
  4. This has a strangely familiar ring to it.
  5. Good question. I'm not sure what is up with trees. They seem to block acquisition but not targetting. Ie, once they know you are there, then they will pump shells at you if you are a priority. I think this is more important in this game since one thing that definitely throws targetting off is if the targeting unit is under fire....or at least that is my impression. 6. I haven't had any problems with it...in fact, ti seems to work a lot better than the AI in most games. For example, it appears that when I gave an order to a SOUMA tank to attack a PZIVD, it seems to have figured out that the frontal armor was too thick to penetrate reliably at 600 meters or so and it drove out for a flanking shot at closer range. Had I not given a specific attack order, I assume it would have stayed put and tried to track the PZIVD.
  7. I've had a lot of moments of amazed amusement. For example, in the DEMO battle, looking down from a Nashorn as machine gun bullets whacked all around from hunderds of meters away.
  8. Really beautiful, with a very good atmosphere. I modified the Cherbourg scenario into a single battle, added a lot of tanks for the French and let it rip. Amazing fun. Vite! Vite!
