awesome, even just for the bullet "snap" than zing, its a common mistake made...but a annoying one from anyone who has been in the military and experienced rounds overhead for me....i was lucky enough not to have people shooting AT me, rather ABOVE me to demonstate the "crack & thump" of incoming rounds im surprised so many get it wrong -
thanks heaps batlefront...SO happy the bar is back as im never happy, does this now mean you can crank the complexity of the game engine under the bonnet as the blue bar takes the beating mostly?

not really, a single core of any core 2 chip will thrash a P4, regardless of the Mhz rate -

i have ctrl-alt-del and looked at ram usage while in a large battle quite a few times never seen CM:SF use more than about 300mb so.....quite a lot spare on my 4gig system -

C4 STINKS of almonds while i was in the army we were always using up our old war stocks, often the C4 had softened the plastic cover on the claymore we used to have these "quick deploy" packs that you would wear with the mine in it around your neck.......massive headache after awhile -

dont tease me rightly or wrongly, that was one of the best features of the old CM games IMO i loved picking stupid combos to see if i could still win (like twenty 60mm mortars v one tiger etc etc) so to answer your question....you cant anymore -

counterstrike maybe?....just a suggestion -
1. hardcore multiplay.....a setting to restrict the view to "iron-view", where the cam is linked to the unit in view "1" and no 'wandering' cam allowed. at the moment you have to 'promise' not to cheat....a setting would rock 2. WEGO. the ability to link waypoint between units to sync orders OR execute an order at a particular time. ie....setting up a chain of orders....culminating in a perfectly timed, multiple entry into a building....enter at 2.30:50am. or it can be used to crest a ridge etc etc 3. why not just add ww2 to cm:sf? make a giant sandbox war game.......people would love to do silly battles like 20 tigers v an M1A1..... other than that, really impressed with 1.10, cm:sf is now worthy of the battlefront name

the blue bar would mean that you could ditch all the LOS/LOF problems because every calculation that needed to be done could be done??? and no horsepower trying to do graphics as well?? then the replay could use all the horsepower to render the turn without bogging the CPU with work?? -

when ever it is....it must be an absolutly huge patch to take so long, and for them to be so busy to not take 3min to say how they are going im looking forward to it -
well..i havent loaded it up in about 6 weeks i see the little icon staring at me on my desktop, but i glare at it with bitter and jaded eyes...and it soon fades away

im pretty sure its not a rain of paper down on the enemys head....the particles looked to have a velocity of about 5m/s though with 2 min of looking...i see that i was wrong about the shape, pretty neat how they direct it down http://www.dtic.mil/ndia/2002gun/becker.pdf i stand corrected

i think the cone was crap......looked like confettii falling down if your not into realism then maybe someone can mod it into falling roses or something for you personally i like it to look like the real thing

thats a good point on removing heat...i didnt think of that considering ive had a case from a styer bounce off the range post i was firing next to, and land down my collar giving me a casing shaped blister and amusing my NCO as i squealed like a stuck pig trying to get if off me -

yeah...secretly i wanted to hear stories of sharks with laser beams attached to thier head......but a bigger rifle is probably cheaper -

yes it is.....990m/s MV at 600m is pretty quick almost like a laser beam in trajectory
