  1. Here here; good post Rune and once again thanks for taking the time to give us the big picture. I'm still going to sit on the side lines here and wait becuase as soon as you release that demo. I will be up-grading my computer or building a new one.
  2. don't see it, as the over exposed camera shot.
  3. just go to the mouse setting and turn it all the way up.
  4. Wartime Command That's all right I was 30 years old when they first advertised this game now I’m 40 1/2?! I even went to the 2003 games convention E3 in LA to do a story on this game that’s when Codemasters had it. I'm still waiting to finish my story on it?! 1C was supposed to put out a demo on it in 2003, that didn't happen. Then Codemasters started telling 1C it wasn't putting more money on it's project, and to go ahead and release the game and just do patch's, well thank god 1C didn’t want to put an unfinished project out there. There-for pulled the gaming rights from Codemasters or paid them off not sure which, as I lost interest after seeing the game get shelved. Then 1C started looking into publishing the game them selves and low and behold Battlefront.com decided to help. So here we are with a new title and supposedly a new game with full emersion of Combined Arms and tactics that this game looks like it will live on in infamy? Maybe we will see a big update on new and interesting features to the game or updated movements? Maybe we will see a demo in the near future. Game Features · Real Time Combat Simulation – Realistic shell ballistics, armor penetration calculations and damage effects coupled with destructible environments, trenches, fortifications and individually tracked weapons, equipment, ammo and vehicles · 5 Historical Campaigns, each with unique units and equipment – US, UK, Soviet, German, French and Polish · Over 40 historically accurate campaign missions based on real WWII battles · Over 30 different maps designed using historical military documents and covering a variety of seasons, weather conditions and environments. · 5 Single (non-campaign) Battles plus 3 Training scenarios · Unique Role Playing Elements: soldiers gain experience and new skills as they progress though the campaigns · Real World Military Tactics: Units fight using authentic tactical formations, realistic battle drills and operating procedures specific to their nationality · Amazing Freedom of Action: Replace and reinforce gun crews, pick up dropped weapons, capture enemy equipment and even select specific weapons and ammo to use · Advanced Individual Unit AI: Units intelligently react to changing battle situations and conditions. They will take cover, avoid obstacles and seek to gain the upper hand against their enemies · Huge assortment of units, uniforms, equipment and vehicles: hundreds of different Dynamic Battlefields; · Wage war in all four seasons over beautifully rendered landscapes. Watch as trees get knocked over by tanks, vehicles crush men and equipment under their treads, tracers stitch across no mans land and high explosive shells leave huge smoking craters from devastating Air strikes and Artillery Barrages · State of the art 3D character animation and graphics · Easy to use order system. Command your troops quickly and efficiently and keep tabs on their individual status with the innovate soldier monitor system · Multiplayer support (Internet/LAN) I sure hope that all the newest features there trying to implement will work and not break anything, if it does there's nothing a patch would'nt or could'nt fix.... 5. Kind of reminds me of Steel fury have you tried that one same concept but you only command one tank.
  6. THANK YOU RUNE! Now that was'nt so hard, and I bet you feel better now too?
  7. Hey wake me up when it comes out. I'm going to sleep for 3 months.
  8. And for all the impatient whiners who haven't yet seen BFCs business logo. Here ya go... </font>
  9. Well obviously you had time for that statement?! Que NO!?
  10. So with this game being in the works for well over 7 years now; with Battlefronts version What can we expect in this version over the russian version? Will there be an update to the Russian version so as to be able to play with our fellow comrades across the great Lake? [ January 22, 2007, 02:37 PM: Message edited by: Wolfseven ]
  11. Maybe they started over again.
  12. Oh also I noticed when your shooting the gun and MG you hit bushes they dont pass through the sceenry. Whats the other ammo, theres only 5 rounds? Also the tank has a habit of spinning in a circle when you try to drive it. after about several mad pushes of the key it straightens out. Cant here the loader when hes anouncing ammo and unload and loaded...Somethign wrong with the sound. Can't see the enmey at night no {ir or flir} night vision was in the 40's? So there was flare's to see the enemy at night? All in All I like the game the controls were not that hard if you print out the read me txt very promising game. I will definantly buy this one. What were they running this game off of 7 years ago when it was in development?
  16. Just by a desk top then you will solve all your problems with not being able to play these games.
  17. A month, how is progress?
  18. Ok, the game has a few bugs like firing through walls and bunkers. I think the line Of Sight (LOS) is a little off. I got off the beach and had the AA guns from the other side of the large turret gun, firing on my infants and killing them, through the turrets you could see the tracers going right through it. I was successful in finishing the mission after key sites were captured. I made sure I placed minefields on my flanks to counter the 5 pzgs traversing the area. I capture the food stores and then surrounded the HQ and Colleville city and finally after about an hour of smaller skirmishes I finished the objective. The game has potential and I think if BF could help them with some minor issues it could be a great game.
  19. Yes, the LOS is on everything except I did'nt see it on the infants, I love this style I'm a RTD guy and this is a great game. Those that are waiting for TOW its also a RTS, if ya'll did'nt know that already. Since I did play it at the E3. It's about the same as officers. A few problems or bugs I have ran into the start screen does'nt save your settings and they default back very annoying, you have to start all over.
