These are some good observations. You really need to be patient with your infantry, particularly when on the attack and there is enemy armor around. This is not unreasonable. However the infantry can be very dangerous when the armour is right on top of them...meaning within range of whatever AT weapons they might have, throwing or otherwise. "Combined Arms" really means alot in this game. It is very important to have infantry supporting tanks and vice versa when the enemy has the same. Particularly on defense. </font>

What an awesome tank battle I had a lot of fun doing that one. I have been running task manager program in the back side to see what the problem is, and man does this game eat a lot of CPU power I'm guessing I'm going to just need to update my CPU thats where it looks like my bottle neck is thanks again for a great game my wife is hating it already this is my new mistress.

I'm afraid they stated in an earlyer thread that 9800pro was'nt support bro you need to upgrade that CPU and do it fast because your entering a new era of higher ram hog games and faster gpu and cpu pc games.

with EAX runing I get beeps and bloops alot with EAX off I dont here that anymore what is the bleeps and bloops? :cool:

I do know adding another gb of ram helped me out.

Yes when you install it asked you to run set up for some codecs for wmv9VCMsetup.exe make sure you let it install that.

try 7.4 drvrs make sure you uninstall the older drvrs then install the new ones then do a hardware setup for TOW then run the game I even turned the highsky details and ground terain high details again seems to be working again for me SIG IS MY RIG.

I just changed to 7.4 drvrs giving them a go they seem to be more stable. Still testing

I'm loving this game even though I'm having relativly minor issues I love it. I have found a work around in the mean time with the jerky slow motion game play, the Pause key works great. I can now move around real fast and conduct my music piece and I completed a mission "The last chance". Now I'm working on the french one. I also love the quike save feature.

ATI is 7.3 drvr. Creative SB audigy se 24 bit 5.1 ss I turned off the EAS and that helped out alot but it still gets slow and jerky when a lot of equipment is on the field. I also turned off dead soldiers.My sig is my rig all latest updates XP sp2 up to date, VIA chip set latest up to date.

x1600 pro 256mb Now this should run the game very smoothly but I think there something wrong with the drivers. Game runs really smooth then when I get more reinforcements it slows way down. What ya'll think drivers or machine graphics gpu or CPU?

yes on the other download appy's such as DAP and Get right, security page issues kept poping up. I followed your instruction to the letter to no avail, So then I tried Down load express and wala it worked don't now why but I think Mcafee and AVG are the culprits.

try Download express seems to be better

Down load express semms to be the best bet for me I got it to work after turning off Mcafee and AVG.

I turned off all firewalls and virus protections and then I DLed Down load express and its working YEA

Well since I cant get the damn download to work I'll just have to keep playing the Demo until my Cd arrives. :confused:

I'm having problems also cant seem to get it to down load from getright or DAP allways tells me security protocals are preventing me from geting the DL I have tried everything even turned off firewall Mcaffe and My virus scanner still nojoy.

nope I Tried everything the sugest in the download FAQ and nada dame thing. My Mcaffe doesnt have privacy seting and the ie7 I place on low setting and it still states file not found.

ok my bad they must be uploading the TOW file right now because it finnished Downloading and its corrupted.
