  1. You can resize the texture to 1024x1024, but it will then need to be reworked, because they look crappy. Here is an example with a late 3rd Pz div emblem as an example: I haven't gotten very far with this, as you can see. The 1024 images are, well, big and take a lot of time (which I don't have now) Now if someone like MikeyD would do some of these, that would rock.

  4. Well, I've gotten this far with a no zimmerit Panther, kind of as a Panther A placeholder. But since I had the to mess with the specular file, this tank is as shiny as a new car if the sun hits it right. Otherwise it looks ok. But how can I reduce the shine of the vehicle while not messing with the angle that light reflects off of it? Simply darkening the specular won't work. Here is the tank so far: Any help on fixing the specular would be greatly appreciated!

  7. hi all, i have uploaded a mod and thought i'd crow about it here, lol. if anyone would like to give me any feedback about it- it's great, it sucks, i'd love to hear it. here is a preview: and yes, like the rest of you i'm waiting on the infantry skins from FinnN... and the red outlined numbers by rofl are really cool.
  8. Thank you guys. That means a lot to me. I will upload it to CMMODS pretty soon, if you're interested. I'm finally getting a grip on my alpha channel woes too, and here is a redone Panther to illustrate. It is loosely modeled off of a real model on missing-lynx.com by James Blackwell. I'll probably have it put up on CMMODS soon also.
  9. FinnN, i haven't been able to get them to work, can't figure it out... so i'll just wait until someone throws up a PSD file or something that contains a good alpha channel, and maybe rob it.
  10. Since I can only do Alpha channel stuff for so long before it irritates me, I am redoing my 251-D model, and thought I'd post it here for any comments. I kind of modded it off of the Stug IV summer 2 (i think that's it) and any constructive criticism is more than welcome. so, that being said, here goes: you know, the inf in Panzer Command can fight from within the HT, i wish these guys could... kind of a drive by thing.

  12. heh, i got paint shop pro. i really like it, except for this- maybe i can either find an add-on for paint shop or use a demo for photoshop, then copy it into paint shop? thanks man, i was just mad last night- try fail, try again, fail... rinse and repeat. benadryl and alcohol fueled tantrum... lol
  13. ok, here is one for you with rusty tracks. but these roadwheels are really kicking my ass. how can i open the file with the original mask/alpha channel intact?????? no matter what i do, i can't match them up right, and it's really pi$$in me off...   14. Thank you guys for the compliments and especially the info... i could never figure that alpha channel thing out... but i think i am starting to get it now. So here are more pics to clutter up the forum: the roadwheels need a lot of work, but removing the skirts was really easy. Thank you guys again for the help!
