Could you please elaborate (in an unbiased manner) what drives the ethnic/racial animus between Russia and Ukraine? If I understand correctly, you refer to “ethnic cleansing” as being a prominent motivating factor for the typical Russian soldier, regardless of the overarching geopolitical dynamics between Russia and “the West”. In short, from your perspective, what is the origin of all this hatred and to what end does it serve?
Lastly you speak of the disintegration of Russia as being necessary. What does that look like in terms of re-divided nation states; governments etc.? ...Disclaimer…I don’t want to derail the thread or inflame emotions so if a dry, calculated answer is not possible then please refrain. Thanks

well nothing has really changed, there have been wars going on each and every year since 1945 which resulted in millions of deaths.
since 2001, U.S. Drone and air strikes may have killed as many as 48,000 civilians:
US airstrikes killed at least 22,000 civilians since 9/11, analysis finds | Global development | The Guardian
Just in 2022 you have wars ongoing in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Ethiopia, Suadan, South Sudan, Congo, etc..
There are 82 million refugees or internally displaced persons worldwide.
There is nothing special about this war in terms of human suffering that we have not seen before.
The only difference now is that this war is getting massive media attention.

As I recall, there was no expectation of Russia moving into Crimea either. As the article says, the expected areas of interest to the Russians would be those with large ethnically Russian populations such as the Donbas(s).

I don't understand why many of those features are not available to the regular players.
I understand why the first, and last four items would be restricted, but why don't we have the others.
There is nothing secretive about the rest. I wonder does this mean we will never see those features available to regular players?
