i am trying to put sc ww1 on my work computer, but first i need to remove it from my desktop. i cant find how i can deregister the elicence, there is no option under the programme list in all programs and if i install the game it just uninstalls without first removing the elicence. any help would be appreciated.

Looking for an opponent, beginner level, I have played a lot of SC2 but not a full game of Global Conflict. Might be slow sometimes on getting turns back, I have exams at the moment, but will play to the end, will take either side, please PM me. Cheers

Well exactly what the subject says, what mods are you all working on for SC2 WAW. Just so the rest of us can get excited about what is coming up for this marvellous game. If possible let us know how much % of the mod is finished. Looking forward in advance to hearing about all the good work you guys are doing

I believe they are updating and upgrading it for WaW even as we speak!!!!!!

It seems funny it happens on SC2 and not WaW, I think this would rule out any graphics card driver issues. Sorry but im a bit stumped, as I have not seen this problem before, maybe someone else can help out. Anyway mate you are not missing much, WaW is just like SC2 but with loads of extra features, IMHO it is much better, I never play SC2 vanilla now. Hope you get it sorted out

I would try reinstalling it mate, also have you patched it up to the latest version?

Hi, long time player first time poster!!!! Was just wondering if anyone has played the full campaign from the D-day starting point as Axis and actually won? If so how did you do it? I have tried pulling the majority of my forces back to Normandy, and trying to hold the Russians by defending. Also by pulling the germans back to the siegfried line, and trying an all out assault againest the russians, but failed miserably both times, any advice would be appreciated. Cheers!!!

What is PTO 1 and 2?

I have, I found it as enjoyable as without FOG, just a different kind of game style. You can plan where you are going to attack a bit better, although it seems the AI can to. I may be wrong here, but I think it stops the subs ability to go into silent mode, ie the ai can always see them. And some might call it cheating!!!!

First I would like to say thanks, for such a great game, I bought it about two weeks ago and havent stopped playing it. It has even made my put down Elder Scrolls: Oblivion!!!!!!!!!! This is probably the best turn based computer game ive played in the last ten years, and ive been playing computer games for 24 years!!!!! Well it got me thinking, and I hope this thread isnt againest forum rules, but i was just wondering what other good strategy games you guys liked playing, turn based or not, old or new. Here are a few wikipedia links to ones that I love: Rebelstar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebelstar My all time favourite game ever, still playing it after 20 years, the AI is a bit lame as you can imagine, but its pretty awesome for 2 player, would love to play this over email with anyone who remembers it. Battle for Wesnoth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wesnoth Cool little game with a fantasy bias, nice online function, but can take about 6 hours for a game. Storm across Europe http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?gameid=1069 Cool SSI game from 1990, very similar in feel to SC2, in fact I was still playing this until I bought SC2, I think Hubert game will retire this one for me. SC2 plays like an upto date version of it, which in my book is a great complement Sword of Aragon http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=1110 Another SSI game from the early 90s, with a fantasy twist. Like SC2, in that it has scripted events, also it is story driven. Panzer General series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_General Needs no explanation, additionally Fantasy general is good, if you prefer that kind of thing. Well, like I said, I hope this isnt againest forum rules, but cmon guys lets share the games we love, so maybe others can discover them and enjoy them too. Turn based games are a dying breed, lets try to keep them alive!!!!!!!
