  1. ever seen the game Imperial glory? .. it has a fine system of building entry - Hitori kyo
  2. is this the crew that Hof said this type of game would attract? .. on a good note close combat is to be re-released with enhancements, something to look foward to indeed. - Hitori kyo
  3. You raise many good points Michael Dorosh, the Germans used the more traditional "Vernichtungsgedanke" stratergy, which relied more apon artillery and strategic bombing than strong use of armour, although the luftwaffe did indeed use tactical bobming it was used more against supplylines and rear areas(enemy artillery) as Mr dorosh stated. - Hitori kyo
  4. indeed they are Michael Dorosh ..... how is a bridge in a tactical battle overated M Hofbauer ?
  5. LOL, swastikas as a sign for the freedom of speech. Seriously man, please think about it... The US goverment uses 9-11 like the nazis have used the Reichstagsbrand. The US invades foreign countries just on suspicions, lies and to save the worlds oil resources for themselves. This week has the President signed a law that allows even torture to save the lives of "US citizens", and what else is Guantanamo Bay as a KZ? You (the US citizens) should better take care that the Stars and Stripes will once not mean the same to the world as the swastika flag. </font>
  6. always with calling people neo nazi's, you people need to grow up, the swastika is used today as a religious symbol for buddhists and hindus, the symbol orginally stood for the sun, life, good luck and strength. yet 6 odd years of bad use and its banned in countries even now 61 years on.
  7. alot of people in this discussion seem to only see the symbol as pure evil, i hope you all realise that the symbol had been used for centuries before it was used by the nazi party (acient greek and medieval japan for example)and is still used today, people shouldnt be so offended by a symbol. - as for not having swastikas in the game, makes perfect sense since it is banned in some countries and strangly offends alot of people, thus i totally agree with the game developers decision. - Hitori kyo
  8. hello, where in Aus u from ..im based in melb and will def play mp if the game is any good. - Hitori kyo
  9. Jussi Köhler german troops were general better for these reasons - Training encouraged initiative ( somethin the allied forces lacked and was even discourage by some nations at the begining of the war)this helped the german army exploit situations in attack and defence. - a flexible military system dirived from in part from prussian idealologies, the fexibility allowed rapid movements of troops (even tho germany was least mechanised army late in the war), the use of battle groups which gave more tactical freedom. - less reliance on material such as artillery and air support ( some western allied divisions would seldom do nothing unless there was artillery and air support ) - Hitori kyo
  10. disprove me Michael ? - Hitori kyo
  11. the german army in general was a cut above the rest (allies) due mostly to a flexible military system and training that encouraged initiative. to put it down to the weapons used is folly "Michael" .. the allies knew of the poor performance of there troops (with the exception of there elites 82nd airbourne ect) the reason the allies won was through material saturation (in case of the western allies) and sheer numbers, material and skilled generals(russias case) .. i apologizes admin, yet you did state "i think" which takes away the certainty of your judgement, thus why i considered it a speculation. If u have proof them by all means ban trouble makers. - Hitori kyo
  12. im seriously considering it, i dont wish to play with people of this caliber - Hitori kyo
  13. "Max Wünsche quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having been banned myself a long time ago! Ive chosen to step more carefully... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Uhm... now wasn't that a stupid thing to post? Now you've got me to connect a few dots. If you are who I think you are, and I am quite sure I'm right, you are still banned. So I've banned you again. For you old hands... you might remember a certain Australian who had another (in)famous SS commander's name as a Forum handle. After a string of abusive postings he finally got himself banned when he posted some rather, uhm, distasteful pictures from the Hollocaust. It's gone down as one of the worst, most offensive posts of all times. I'd rather not give him the chance to top his past acheivement." he doesnt even kow if its the same guy just speculates!
