  1. 1. According to some history photo, movies and Osprey picture, I shortened the russian greatcoat ,by adding alpha channel in Photoshop, covering the longer part, and then saving it as a 32-bit BMP file.
    2. The strap and medal of the satchel and the badge of the guards are added.
    3. Diversified the types of uniform, each type has 4 kinds of officer coat, 5 kinds of sergeant coat and 9 kinds of soldier coat.
    4. I tried all kinds of normal maps, trying to increase the three-dimensional sense of the texture when the player turns on shader, but there are no effect. I don't know if it's my file name problem, because I've tried the new and old file name formats, and it's useless. So this time there is no normal map file in the brz package.
    5.Finally, the most important point!!!!! I used the belts, medals and other materials from the former Soviet summer uniform mod. If this is not the official product, but the original work of a former mod maker, please tell me, I will delete this post, because it is an infringement.

  2. Because of my personal aesthetic, I prefer a shorter greatcoat, and I see all kinds of photos, movies, pictures of Osprey uniform books. The Soviet army will wear a shorter greatcoat after 43 years. But I don't know how to change the model, so I tried to change the 24 bit BMP texture file. After many failures, the flame image in the game inspired me. I found that it use the 32-bit BMP texture file with alpha channel. So in its way, I also introduced alpha channel into the greatcoat's texture file to cover the longer part. succeed!
    Next time I'm going to shorten the Allied coats of cmfi and CMFB.

    it's "junk7.mdr" in the flavor objects
    umlauts factory mod uses it as well as stalingrad mod
    just tag it: "junk7 [umlauts_factory].mdr"
    the Stalingrad scenarios are tagged Umlauts Factory and the two will become compatible again

    smod_soviet_m43_soldier-nco-bedroll_uniform [guards] 2.bmp

    I think that instead should be
    smod_soviet_m43_soldier-nco-bedroll_uniform 2 [guards].bmp

    Looks like we've got something to add to the first patch!

    I doubt that the soviet army were wearing the UK emblem of theirs vehicles but I m not sure ! ?

    Bedroll's model is not a standalone one, but rather a combination of the body model, resulting in another uniform textures for that which have Bedroll .

    so I prepare to use photoshop to get some CMRT uniform texture into bedroll one.

    but I found that The placement of the Arabic numerals in the Bedroll Texture file name is completely different, and the placement of the Arabic numerals in the Normal Map file name has also changed. The same goes for the (guard)(cavary)tag texture file names, and the tag texture doesn't have a Normal Map.

    please,Can you tell me how to name the uniform texture file with Bedroll, including the Guard Tag, and their Normal Map names with Arabic numeral?
