  1. Windows are usualy too high or too low for the tank gun to fit through them . I suppose the shooting "through windows" is actually shooting through the walls and that's why it is only possible with light wooden houses.
  2. About your first question - I think your commander is looking thru the windows in the building. I've seen such spotings of tanks behind light buildings and they were able to fire/being fired at, but I guess that's because the houses were light, while this heavy building can easly resist any kind of shells so hence why you can see, but can not fire at.
  3. Nice videos and great animations. But, one thing catch my eye (besides the super-charged tank engines) - in the second vid, pack 1, the grenades exploded on ground contact!? I hope this is on battlefront's fix list.
  4. I realy hope the devs have MP netcode, balancing and stuff like that as least priority, since in the SP missions there seems to be ALOT to do. From my limited MP experience with 1C games (SHOWW2, FOW) and the complains that TOW have slow downs even on high end machines, i'm almost sure what the MP will bring - BIG lag and alot of whinners, cheaters, and did i sed BIG LAG? Possibly Lan games will be playable, but better don't get high hopes or you might get very dissapointed. FOW even claimed to handle up to 16 players and in the end even 2 player games were so lagy, especialy when plaing with the guys from Sibir .
  5. Daymio, thanks for your comments on the game. I have few questions - you sed that once your starting force gets wacked you get new forces and better tanks and once the second is wacked, then comes third with even more advanced tanks. So can you get these reinforcements without haveing to sacrafice your poor troops? Also i see from the screenshots that both sides manpower losses are ~100, but there are hardly more than 30 alive grunts at any time. Did you played with more infantry and how the game handless then, any slowdowns?
  6. Is "very near future" = "soon" :confused: ? Guess i'll die, but this game will still be "comming soon" .
  7. I just wonder - will my pz6 crew paint kill rings on the AA mg barrel after takeing down few flying fortress? On a more serios note - will there be paratroopers? If they're included i hope they'll be able to jump from the plane right in the empty enemy tank, so i wont have to wait my grunts to cross the hole map to recrew the thing.

  10. I can't understand the point of that thread... Ok, you're not satisfied with the graphics and i agree it's not on-par with nowdays FPS, but did you realy expected that much? Also don't forget that the engine handles 4x4km detalied maps in real time, i can't think of other game capable of that. Personaly I'm more concerned about other things than graphics.
  11. Have to say I'm beginning to feel the same way. For some reason I assumed the kind of people who play these tac games were a cut above the usual teenage FPS-whoring retards, but after some of the comments in another thread in the CMBB forum I've revised that assumption. </font>
  12. Computing a flight path with trejectory, ending in both penetration and ricochet computations, for several MG42 firing on the map will not be possible with today's computers (well, maybe with mine ). </font>
  13. Thanks for the quick reply. Ironically, the videocard is the newest part in my configuration . Just to clear it all, is my CPU covering the minimal requirements (AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1.67GHZ)?
