  1. "The game also works on GeForce 4600 Ti." yeah, but I think it needs some very top end CPU to do that.
  2. If there's "no los/cover problem" then there should be graphics option to remove all leafs from trees and all bushes from the map.
  3. Athlon XP 2400+, nvidia 4600, 1 gig memory Practise missions can be played but main demo mission goes somewhere 0-5fps with minimum details. Of course I have old PC so I cannot complain.
  4. Move your AT's into right, there's bit of tree and such. After few tries usually tanks are dead and you lost one AT. Then there's another defence, where you cant anymore place AT's before that fight. Now thats much harder case. You are basicly in a desert fight. Feels like an old puzzle mystery game.
  5. I think best is to give normal "after game" support, bugs and so on. After that I see fresh start more sensible than beating the old horse.
  6. Biggest set-back is lack of close combat style battle feeling. For example player has pretty much no clue about LOS fields or cover in general. Then you really cant make decisions so game just plays autonomously. Which is opposite of close combat series.
  7. Last I remember reading it was 2008.
  8. I use pause in most of games I dont see problem with it. In some extreme cases like europa universalis I'm more in pause than real time.
  9. "adjust to the player through clever mission scripting" arrggh  I hope they get rid of those because I REALLY hate to spend hours finding out what triggers new enemy wave and how to handle it best. Also I do not want dynamic difficulty. Overall good that battlefront had courage to make game changes, like adding mortars.
  10. Hey, remember, there's always Christmas sales!
  11. Well that was pretty much name of the game in 2001.(apart from ofp which was years ahead of others) Physics engine wasnt used to changing enviroment. Back then Futuremark's car demo game used havok and not pre-planned animations, telling what the future will be. [ October 18, 2006, 02:42 AM: Message edited by: TuuSaR ]
  12. Eh heh sounds like you just saw first 3D game ever, like you jumped from hexa game era or something
  13. It would be wise to release demo before people start testing this game with Russian version.
  14. Yes game graphics doesnt look "state of the art" but its no worry. Only thing I worry is model animations that I havent seen yet. Its not always that simple, for example code could be better in newer engine.
