  1. I just looked at them. They're using the same texture on both sides. Saves time,memory etc...
  2. I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with the cut-outs on the wrong side but the pictures of the rifles could have easily been flipped. Causing the 'error'...
  3. I don't think CoH has ever put it self out there as a realist WW2 game. It's a more stylized, action movie type take on it. And also very fun.
  4. I remember reading in some interview or something with the Officers devs that they have changed the original design for the game and are now going for a more traditional rts...
  5. Nice video. SFX sounded really nice. But did anyone else think the overall speed of the game seemed a little fast? The tanks looked like they had turbo. Maybe it was the video compression or something.
  6. Any chance we could get a series of short videos with the blog? A tank rolling through a village, firing into the distance, soldiers advancing under fire. Short little things like that.
  7. I thought the airstrikes were the same group making multiple passes on the target. Not necessarily seperate squadrons coming from an airbase.....But I don't know...
  8. Personally I think it's currently impossible technology wise to create a game as realistic, especiialy scale wise, everyone seems to want, while maintaining the level of detail and quality they have with ToW.

  10. Hope this hasn't been asked yet. Will you be able to order different units to all move at the same speed? It's so annoying in some games when you try a large offensive and the faster (and usually weaker) units speed ahead to be caught alone and destroyed.
  11. People rant and whine about realism and historical accuracy but won't play the game unless it's turn-based or has pauses? How many WW2 commanders could pause the world and take a birds eye view to get their bearings? I'm not sure how the pause works but I'd think it lets you issue and stack commands. This is as good turnbased or 60 second phases because you can pause and take as many turns as you like! I think a pause for multiplayer, unless severly limted, would be a big mistake. It'd get annoying fast having the game contantly interuppted by your opponents pauses, especially if there a four players.

  13. I was wondering if I could get the specs for the models ingame? Polycounts, texture sizes. Are any special maps used? Normal, bump, specular...
