Hi Pia, it might offer little help but encounters like this are really rare. But IMO thats great because in reality there were not often even odds. Germans fought at best 1:40 in 1945, in the beginning of 1942 unexperienced US pilots had to fight veteran Japs. They hadn't much fun I guess but many survived. For me (and many others) beginning in this game was also very hard. Actually I threw my mouse (wireless) out of the window (2nd floor) once - it had no ED so it lies on Arlington now. But believe me, there will be a time when you know how AI is working and then will you be disappointed when you only score three kills in a mission. So keep trying, you're really not alone in the skies.

I totally agree with Stalin. I will never touch a custom mission (only exception might be Sixx' Tournament).The system gives too much room for cheating as he said above. Look at The Bride's pilot "custom only" with an average 308,07 XP / mission in the all time records. I won some weeks with an average around 160-170 per mission but could never reach 300 or more! Also I dont't wanna know against whom I have to fight, you couldn't also choose in reality. So please kick it out from the records please.

As Sixx said some other Jets would be fine. Why not the first Jet of all, the Gloster Meteor for the Brits? Ok, it was crap and spent most of its time tipping V1 cause the guns never worked but hey...its a jet. For the US the P-80 shooting star. Ok, only 4 have seen duty in WW2 (one exploded, one crashed) but with the Shinden its the same.

Maybe I missed some info out but here are some questions anyway: - when will a medal overview for Russia and Poland be added? - do the Polish ever get another plane? If yes, when? If no, why are they there? - when can I sort the ladder in russians or polish only? thx in advance

I also need to glorify myself a little bit. Reached 1000 kills today as third person ever with an unmatched average of 2.90 kills per mission.

I'm also completely against a restart of the ladder. Being close to the 1000 now and dont wanna restart. Would also be difficult to maintain two different ladders at the same time. I agree thats its definitely possible to fly missions with a little bit more cautious strategy and regain the ED skill. As i also play lotta RPG's i think there should be a penalty for dying. No challenge otherwise whwn i knoe i'm immortal.

You only get killed when your pilots have lost their "second chance"-skill. Otherwise they bail out with the 'chute and are safe for this day. There is a chance of getting this skill back after every mission so I recommend playing vs. the AI. It is far more predictable...
