Rambo brings up a good point about the false myth of German superiority. When they faced an equal opponent they got they arses kicked. The blitzkrieg victory early on were against weak nations. Of course Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands are going to fall to a much larger country. Not to mention these nations had weapons that were very obsolete. When they finally got to a formidable opponent like UK/USSR/USA they got their arse kicked. It would be like a country like Mexico invading all the tiny little Central AMerican countries and saying they were all powerful.

I think what needs to be done to make US more of a threat is to add like a DDAY invasion force to the production Que. Keep the same pool limit but add a sizable force to production que to arrive winter 43/spring 44. This force should be sizable because realisticly by 1944 the US forces were massive. Im not sure how many would be appropiate but the addition of some extra bombers, AF, and tanks should be looked into. When the allies fought in France 1944 they outnumbered the German tanks 5-1. The current pool limit doesnt allow this. Very unfair since most the German tanks in the game will be very powerful and experienced against 2 allowed in US pool limits

Panzeh - That wouldnt be acceptable to a large portion of the wargame community who romanticize the myth of German superiorty. Many hold the belief that if the Germans had done this or that they would have won WW2 without realizing that every action creates a reactions. You are %100 correct in asking why isnt France allowed the same hindsight of changing its decisions like the Germans are. Germany can devote more to taking unrealistic targets like UK or Middle East but the same concept isnt given to the Allies. Why isnt Russia allowed to declare war on Turkey prior to joining the allies? Or France allowed to have the option of Extending Maginot Line?

Why doesnt Battlefront have a live chat room or some other "Real Time" way of finding other players? I have been trying for 2 days to get a TCP game going and have had little luck. Ive tried the opponent finder forum but its not a good tool in my opinion. How hard would it be for Battlefront, HC or whoever to setup a Java based Chat room where players can come to to discuss and find opponents?

How about tank Strenth Blashy? Are we to believe most of the US SHermans were in the Pacific? Didnt they outnumber the Panzers 5-1? Remember the US adopted a Europe first strategy and had most of its forces in Europe. Yes there were significant forces in the Pacific but not that many. Even if we assumed %50 of US forces were in Pacific which is a stretch the US still would field an Army that would exceed 4 Army groups. Hell even Francos Spain fields an Army that just about outnumbers US in this game

Its obvious Rambo the USA is hated. Remember that a lot of wargamers have this fantasy of German Myth being supermen. This of course is what sells. Of course these are the same supermen who got their butts kicked by the so called "Inferior race" as they called it. Every has thise false belief that everything German was superior to the allies. I guess they never heard of a T34 tank, P51 Mustang, Ect.

Also how about tank strength for the US? If i recall the Shermans had a 5+ to 1 advantage to anything the Buntas had.

According to your numbers Blashy the USA should have a pool limit comparable to Germany. Why dont the Germans have a pool limit of 4 armies? This of course would disappoint the Bunta lovers who idolize the Nazis because they like their uniforms

Rambo is correct, How is it that France, Spain or some of the other minor countries have more armies than USA? Or the USSR having a limit of tanks similar to the Germans? Surely the Germans were not able to build as many tanks as the Soviet Union
