    1950s & 1960s heavy tanks rock.....We really need them in CM:CW.
Hull down (if that's possible with a mobile cathedral) Conquerors & M103s slugging it out with hordes of IS-3Ms & T-10s.....Who wouldn't want to play that?
PS - Just imagine the noise!

I've fought mini-actions to do just that.....I'll also go to ridiculous lengths to ensure my men get buddy-aid:

An approximate schedule of VPs is often appreciated as it guides the player in how to allocate his efforts:

Couple of additional notes to @kohlenklau's comments above:
If you want a Footpath through a forested area to be traversable by vehicles, it is best to use only Light Forest (or other tiles that vehicles can enter) in any tile that contains your path.....While Footpaths (or Streams) normally make all manner of impassible terrain including cliffs (& Deep Marsh Tiles) passible, the 'Doodads' in Heavy Forest seem to be able to block the path for vehicles, particularly on diagonal sections.

They don't need warheads or sophisticated control systems really, a few hundred MiG.19 drones on auto-pilot, with several dozen J-16s & J-16Ds mixed in, would be the end of Taiwan's overt air-defence capabilities.

    Nope wrong again!

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMD-3
It's the BMD-4 and BMD-4M that have the twin cannon arrangement.
The video starts with a BMD-3 then shows wht looks like a BTR-D being loaded onto the aircraft, before showing either a BMD-1 or BMD-2 being dropped out of another aircraft, finally returning a BMD-3 for the landing.

    Sgt.Squarehead,

Less than a minute ago I finished reading about the Polish tank fleet, armament and sensor fits, armor upgrades, ammo and ammo performance and more, all because I had some vague recollection the Poles had Leopards, which is how I learned of the Leopard 2 PL. Most of the Polish tank fleet consists of T-72As with minor upgrades. Believe you'll find this article a good read.

Sorry it's taking so long for the next update everyone, I am not finding much spare time at the moment with sick kids and sick parents (don't ask!).
I've got about 10 turns to write up so where appropriate I'll batch them together as not a huge amount happened in some of them.
In the meantime I thought I'd upload a picture of the planning sketch I did for this battle way back in August. The numbers have changed since I did fancy graphics for this  DAR and I identified a few more pieces of Key Terrain etc but this is typically how I record my planning, most of which I do in my head. This in combination with my OOB spreadsheet gives me all the info I typically need to get started, and I'll continually reassess and reapply METT-T (and draw new diagrams if needed - did it in my last battle against this opponent) where appropriate when the situation changes.

I still think it can be done without the arty, but I kinda waited around for it to turn up.....If I'd pushed on at thet point rather than waiting the extra turns for reinforcement I reckon I could do it with time to spare but casualties would be pretty high (as they are now).
Even so the arty makes sense and that beautiful city is just crying out for a good stonk!

It's been a bit of a marathon, but:

Really enjoying this campaign.....I believe an updated version may be imminent, hope so!
PS @Bartimeus A platoon of engineers or some Breach Teams would be very useful for Scenario 3.

Good call, that's the one.....The original Dana would be very cool in CM:CW, it's spot on for the period.
