  1. Cheers, I've done that.....Just trying to summon up the will to reinstall CM:FI (and then not play it at all). I seem to have lost all interest in WWII these days.
  2. Who cares if it works! It would look amazing.....What do we have to lose!
  3. I wish I could replenish the ammo on ZPU-23 Technicals, ye-gods those things eat ammo fast! That being said you soon get to see why they are the weapon of choice for low intensity conflict, they can certainly do the licks!
  4. Red Occupy Bug - FFS don't let this minor inconvenience slip through the net. UnCons need access to demolition charges too. The ability to 'make smoke' should be present on a number of AFVs, most of them ex-Soviet.
  5. Oooops! Wrong thread.....But have another cartoon as I still have that page open too:
  6. Apart from that all the other stuff in Saudi textbooks is just fine.
  7. Exactly. Likewise it is of extreme importance to at least attempt to analyse how one's own actions might be perceived (and thus how they might be countered) by an adversary.....The US has, by reason of little more than hubris IMHO, consistently failed to do this since the fall of the Soviet Union.
  8. I actually meant if we had thermobaric artillery in CM:BS.....Buratino was what I had in mind TBH (include it in CM:SF II please).
  9. Not exactly my preferred source for an article, but this does cover a number of important bases: http://nationalinterest.org/feature/why-china-could-invade-north-korea-22417
  10. How the **** did they manage to spell 'sketch' wrong?
  11. Although thermobaric artillery rounds would make the cover significantly less effective than it once was.....If we had some!
  12. I'm definitely in.....Finally a scenario with the Oplot (I'm guessing it's an Oplot) in a sensible role! PS - Lovely screenshot, very immersive.....I'm looking forward to this one.
  13. This place is more like a modelling forum than any other game forum I've encountered.....I mean people are polite and actually discuss meaningful topics. Is that in part down to the creative aspect of the games I wonder? As you point out this site naturally attracts those interested in the mechanics of the game.
  14. 'Because' would indeed be stating it too strongly, I agree.....However the legacy of the war does give the Kims something very tangible to point to in support of their rhetoric. Hopefully given the passage of time and improvements in communication these messages will lose their potency, barring any unfortunate outbreaks of nuclear war in the intervening years.
  15. I'm looking for some detailed guidance on campaign scripts, anyone have a link at all?
  16. Great tips to be had in here.....Cheers all.
  17. OP - Get yourself the British module and play some of this man's scenarios ^^
  18. They didn't get to that place all on their own fella, something made them think of the US that way.
  19. If the previous was scary, the following is probably best described as utterly terrifying:
  20. 10 minutes airborne at almost 5000ft.....On a kite: Dubble-Fekk!
  21. So back to the music (Should we maybe start a music thread?):
