  1. Is there a trick to gettting out of indirect fire mode? After hitting CTRL-M, hitting it again did not return me to direct fire.
  2. You can do that currently. Approach the crest of a hill, see a target, aim and fire, then hit your brakes...drops you down a few feet and can hide you behind a ridge.
  3. 1) It would be nice to have some way to escape from a resupply tether. In one instance, a ship that came to resupply me got downed, fell on my tank, and left me sort of stuck for a while. It was very hard to tell what was going on due to drop ship graphics filling the screen. If this is supposed to be survivable, it might be good to have the view switch to unlocked by default. 2) An alarm or visual warning when a missile is locked and incoming might be helpful. I quite like the "uh-oh" sense that comes when watching a missile approach. 3) The manual could use some explanation of what damage to specific systems does to performance. I can't always tell whether system damage is serious enough that I should retreat for repairs rather than continue fighting. Were it clear, however, that a yellow indicator on a certain system meant 50% less accuracy or some such thing, that might be sufficient information to make a fight or flight decision. 4. Drove a hurricane next to a wall and it tipped up as pictured. I was stuck after that until firing a HE round nearby dislodged me. Not sure if that's a bug or a feature.
  5. Seeing the mention of an ORGE scenario brought back fond memories of Metagaming's early '80s tank game of the same name. Props for including it.
  6. I use a Mac too and have encountered the same problem. The usual key commands do not let you option-tab out of the app to do a forced quit and cmd-option-shift-esc does not force quit the app. The 'X' works fine, unless you freeze.
  7. I type a new name after choosing "save as" and I get an error: Couldn't save file. Using Mac OS X 10.4.5.
  8. First off, great game. Really impressive. For some reason I cannot save a new keyboard config file. Is that disabled in the test or is it likely a permission issue?
