  1. Please release Combat Mission Campaigns too now !
  2. Wow, I would love to play that one, being an early war fanatic! </font>
  3. Of course my intention is not a "pure copy" of an East Front scenario. My purpose is starting from an idea to setup a playable CMC game; may be that "Bridge at Kanev" is too large, but with the news in my hand is impossible to know this. A map of 8km x 6km is playable at strategic level in CMC ? And the CMMB maps must be of "scenario" or "campaign" type. A size of 2000m x 2000m is applicable or is better 1000m x 1000m ? Thanks
  4. Yes, in East Front was a parachute drop, if is possible simulate loss due the drop (10% or 20% and so on ) for different ground type in landing zone there is no problem. If ew have a detailed map of that zone I can design some CMMB maps.
  5. Hi all Found the details of the battle Bridge at Kanev 23/9/1943 Map size about 10 x 8 km Soviet Force - 1st Gaurds Airborne Brigade 1st Btn 2nd Btn 1st Artillery Btn 1st Guards Airborne Engineer Company 1st Airborne Mortar company 1st Airborne AT Btn ( 57mm AT Guns) - 51 Tank Brigade 315/51 Tank Btn( T34/M43 ) 316/51 Tank Btn( T34/M41 ) 51° Mot Rifle Btn 51° AA Company 6° Gds Rocket Company 189° SU Regiment ( SU 76 ) 1/272 Gds Mortar Btn 2/272 Gds Mortar Btn German Force - 10° Panzergrenadier Division 20/10 PzGrd Regiment ( 2 Battallion ) 10° Mot. 6. I dont like "real time" game. Impossible and unrealistic drive all the units correctly. The "GO" concept of CM is better.
  7. Hi all ! I remember a very interesting east front scenario in september '43: Kanev. I not remember exactly the scenario name, this evening at home I can search it and say more. The scenario was based on a combined soviet attack with paratroops and tanks across the river, the map comprise various type of terrain. On german side I remember fortifications and AT batteries as well as Marder III platoon and many other interesting units.
  8. I think that CMC will be a great instrument for a team game with a structure of command from divisional to battallion commander: a taem play as allied and another play as axis, unlike the CMMC games of the past there are no problem of referee team too. My impression is that is difficoult to found so many player with unlimited time for the game to form more than 2 team, and even with only 2 team may by useful have reserves. I never play a team tournament but I am ready (and anxious) to start a game like this!
  9. Even I hope to play a campaign in Stalingrad. At the start of last summer (before the CMC presentation) I have beginned to draw a detailed Stalingrad map, and was planned squares of 2000mt x 2000mt. At that time I abbandone the project due the move of my home, now may be interesting continue that work, of course a Stalingrad campaign is raccomanded for a multi player game.
  10. I am waiting news, my personal interest is great for CMC
  11. Very thanks, So if my project to design the entire Stalingrad in square of 2000mt x 2000mt can continue I should use that maps in a campaign. ciao
  12. Hi all I am a new of this forum and want give a greeting to everyone. My question is: in CMC is possible to load an existing CM map from a file edit by CMBB or the CMC generate its map anymode ? If is CMC that generate the maps all times, use the random generator of CMBB ? I have noted that CMBB map generator in many cases place wall or hedge without logic, not using them to enclose a farm border or follow a road. If is possible load an "external" map afrer its build-up this walls/hedges can be removed or implemented, not only, even historical maps, like Stalingrad for exemple, may be designed.
