  1. Terra Unit deep dive into weaponizing their commercial drones:
  2. no way! I hope everyone in this village is a hardcore anarchist to this day.
  3. Possibly, or they may be training with the US Stryker brigade (2nd ACR) in Europe, the first to be equipped with the 30mm Strykers.
  4. It is not. Those were the colors of the carpets used for the ceremony.
  5. Three-dimensional fight in Bakhmut: Russian BMP eats an ATGM that flies right down its own line of fire:
  6. Some more clips of APKWS in use (overlap with previous): https://twitter.com/PaulJawin/status/1655125622065188867?s=20
  7. One man army: https://twitter.com/PaulJawin/status/1654887568813506561?s=20
  8. As Galeev covers briefly here, modern Russian mil production can’t really be seen as a single, cohesive industry: Doubts raised by Haiduk aside, production of BMP-3 could be the same or less than previous years, but deliveries to Army increased because they are taking over export production for domestic delivery (and likely dooming their future export industry to ruin in the process).
  9. Textbook mech assault using a captured BMP-3:
  10. We’ve already seen them in use off the back of trucks. ”Terror” unit retaking a position on the road of life to Bakhmut: Interesting use of command-detonated mines on ropes to swing into bunkers without exposing attackers to entrance opening.
  11. More Terra Unit ops from early spring around Bakhmut:
  12. Prigozhin shows off his collection of dead convicts:
  13. There is also hull storage for 6 120mm rounds, but this is shielded from interior and has its own blast vent out of the hull. (Now I don't know if it is actually used in practice, but that is the only way you get to 40 stowed rounds.)
  14. Only because JonS whinged and whinged:
  15. Not in Russia. There were a series of small-scale false flag or staged attacks in occupied areas of Ukraine just before start of full-scale invasion. It remains within the Russian MO, but I agree that the humiliation with this one would seem to outweigh its potential usefulness for propaganda. Big questions remain: -Ukraine alone from Ukrainian territory? -Ukraine alone from within Russian territory? -Cooperation between Ukraine and internal Russian group? -Internal Russian group acting alone seeking to destabilize regime?
  16. Central Moscow is saturated in surveillance cameras. Probability of one having a section of the most important place in Moscow (Red Square) in view is 100%.
  17. Of course they are, and it is the official residence, but looks more like a symbolic demonstration to me. I doubt Putin sleeps right under the flag in the dome. Also, a highly demonstrative attack that seems to maximize visibility and minimize damage also raises the possibility of a false flag op.
  18. Just flying drones into the Kremlin now. A brilliant, 3-day war.
  19. Terra Unit gets into the (very) close air support business for 3rd Separate Assault Brigade (cont. from previous video):
  20. Ukrainian journalists travel the “road of life” into Bakhmut to visit the 93rd Mech Bde.:
  21. UKR assault on a fairly well-developed Russian fortified position around Bakhmut:
  22. Part 3 of battle for “Cyclops” position. Shows how difficult and dangerous this work is even with drone support:
  23. Charging trenches in your BMP with improvised dead guy armor is an interesting tactic.
