  1. There are two types of statics: hierarchical (which are destroyed by parts) and ordinary (destroyed as a whole). Hierarchical are much more high poly than ordinary ones. Also there are different stages of destruction, you can see them if you specify damage value for static in map builder, this adds to poly count too. Hierarchical statics have an 'h' in their name, so you may want to try to use ordinary ones if fps on your map is low.
  2. Additional armor plates were added in Jumbo versions, in the game there are ordinary 76mm variants. They had armor plate with over 100mm thickness, but it was situated in lower hull and it was less than 30% of front projection Other front hull was sloped ~50mm armor plate.
  3. How about favored allied equipment? Don't you have any doubts about 102mm front hull armor of Shermans-76, thickier than Tiger I? And it's sloped:) Semi-automatic rifles are more widespread in the game than they were, yes.
  4. rofl Some of the houses are high-poly, up to 3000-7000 polys in LOD0. Also 10 different houses on the map will decrease FPS a lot more than 10 same ones.

  6. AT gun pits and MG nests are planned (it requires not just modeling but also new game system - currently all trenches are no-go for guns). Large pillboxes probably will be made like buildings. Simulation of underground fortifications is possible in theory, but it's unlikely they will be done in near future (undergound levels usually were ammo and other supply storages, and are irrelevant game-wise). Actually, there are two MG bunkers for each country - wooden and concrete, with different armor values.
  7. It's very early war infantry and Poles don't have AT grenades, so only AT weapons are AT rifles, which are weak, but still can help. Don't let them waste ammo firing at tanks 300m away - open fire from 100m and less at tank sides. AT rifle bullets have little effect after penetrating armor, so aim at different parts of the tank to kill or wound all crewmen.

  12. Urban settings are unlikely in near future; amount of buildings on the maps will remain close to present, but they will be enterable.
  13. In upcoming patch MP is changed much, i think you'll be fine. What error do you receive when try to connect?

  17. your trigger MineField must have a delay added after string ProcessMinefield, for example Delay ( 1000 ) and minefield will check for units in it each second (1000 milliseconds). Otherwise trigger will run all the time in infinite loop and may hang the game. In addition, all the parameters in brackets must have spaces before and after them, in your primer there should be ", 100 )" instead of ", 100)".
  18. You can choose from several (up to 20), usually from around 10, armies with various units composition, they are hardcoded in scenario.   19. In this primer there are no trees at all, only bushes (there was specifical question on the forum). Screenshots show that only tanks see each other because they see turret tops above the bushes, while less tall SPG and AT guns can't see anything. In current visibility system view is traced from top of the unit, sector visibility with modeling of pros (increased view range) and cons (greatly reduced field of view) of historical optical instruments like periscopes and optical sights will be in addon. In addition, in described case (when unit knows there is enemy unit over there but can see only small part of the target) calculated accuracy error is multiplied by 3 times.

  21. It's recommendations. You can place much more, say 30000 detailed trees, but game may crash during loading, it depends on many factors. Try to load your map in the game, look at the framerate, etc. 6000 detailed trees should load, but your framerate may be low.
  22. There should be another autosave before rewarding units, it will do.
