Or maybe he means sarcasm and abuse are not the way to treat customers that have been loyal for many years now. The customer may not always be right, but he does deserve some amount of respect.

I think the French Foreign Legion believed in this a certain amount before WWII. And in the case of Black Hawk Down, anyone left behind is mutilated and dragged through the streets. This could be motivation enough for troops to want to secure every body before leaving.

Every now and then I watch the start of an episode, and am quickly reminded of why I didn't watch the last one. A lot of the characters and plot is just hard to believe, and it strays from realism several times an episode.

As am I. Sounds like reason enough to get CMBB.Originally posted by British Tommy:I'm just getting the hang of it after reading all the messages.

That's because you're a knob. Whatever that means. But being that I am a "knob" as well, I agree.Originally posted by Soddball:Really. Totally.

You're just saying this because you hate America.

Your tactics will change if you have to worry about wounded becoming prisoners. I would have thought that was obvious. </font>Originally posted by Cpl Steiner:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />How in the world is this relevant to the outcome of tactical battles?

You have heard of sentence structure, no? I fit in the 14-17 age range, and I'll tell you that I don't know one other person in my school that has any CM game. Regardless, I'm pretty sure BFC doesn'y gear a release towards a 4 year age window, but produces games for whomever wants to play them. Doesn't matter if you're 15 or 83, if you find the subject matter interesting, and you like the game play, then they designed the game for you.Originally posted by rai kitsune:whow whow whow zemke i'm 17 and i have 1 FPS half life 2 which i bought to see if the computer crashed on higher res games apart from that i only really have rome total war cm:bb and tacops on this system. just so you know not all 13-17 year olds are only into "fps" games. (plus a turn based war game is quite frankly never aimed at the 13-17 year old market many of those my age just do not seem to understand this type of game. quite upsetting really i'm lucky enough to have around 5 freinds that play tacops with me during a lil meeting we occasionally have)

Because they have near the same effect on a Humvee at close range.

Seriously, you didn't include the US-centric partor the Americans killing adolescent Iraqis.

You just posted that because you hate America.

Okay then. What kind of obstacles? Minefields? Fire sacks? A platoon of Shermans? A mob of Italian children?
[Edit] If you told me what they were, what's the challenge? Alright, I'm interested.

What kind of puzzles?

Note how it says modern "napalm". The quotation marks explain it all.

I turned cynic at a young age.
Best of luck with that, maybe you'll find him on the Springer show.

From the sound of it the MK-77s are actually worse, harder to put out too. But they don't use gasoline, so they aren't napalm. </font>Originally posted by Dillweed:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by stoat:

The 1980 Protocol III of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons deals specifically with the Use of Incendiary Weapons, and their use against civilians.Originally posted by Michael Dorosh:Flame weapons are prohibited in Canada, apparently some international convention against their use? Don't know if the US is a signatory to that or not.
That one? Ha, since when does the US sign international conventions? Certainly didn't sign this one.

Not quite. You've got five years on me.

Who was being ignorant? I detected sarcasm, and heaven forbid a bit of wit (not from me of course), but ignorance? You may learn Dillpickle, that calling names makes you enemies, and accusing ignorance is a great way to start.Originally posted by Dillweed:Hey, I got an idea, lets try to not all be ignorant! Just once, please.

There's the line. *points far, far away* Here you are. I think you crossed something a while back.

They took losses. The most memorable one to me was the one that was disabled by a recoiless rifle on the 3rd Mech's thunder run into Baghdad. It was on the news and everything.

How about an RPG or recoiless rifle from 60 meters? Not to mention ATGM.
How will are planes not dominate?
I'm sure scenario design can compensate for this.
The only way its not a "Turkey shoot" is in guerilla warfare tactics against the brigade.
Or to make it an infantry-v-infantry game with everything else in a supporting role.
