hi,
just wanted say that the one thing for me this sim
is missing is immersion . when i fire up a new game usually within in 10 minutes or so i know i will like it or not. this one i didn't like at all from the start; I think the interface is bad , I don't like the graphics , the performance and I dont like the sounds; I have been a tank gunner for 2 years in the german army and imho no tank sim ever got it completely right to model the sounds correctly (including steal beast , a game that i love). I miss interior views (yeah I know, but I just need them ) and I dont like the setting . All this adds up to the 'no immersion' effect which kills the game for me, even though this game might model tank combat very realistic
and might have the most realistic so and so. Just doesn't work for me . So why did I buy it you ask ? because I just love tank sims and I have have them all
take care

hi,
i am also having these problems in the full version.
the game just stops but according to taskmanager is still running. I can happily alt-tab in and out of the game and it says 'restoring graphics' (or something like that) upon return so its still alive somehow
specs:
p4 3.2
1gig ram
nvidia 6600 77.72

Is the damage model better in the full game?
in T-72: Balkans on Fire!

i think damage is modeled pretty realistic in this game .when you hit another armored vehicle in real life most of the time it will not blow up especially when hit with ap. as a matter of fact you will not have an indication that the tank is knocked out at all other than no movements for longer periods of time , crew bailing out or gun pointing down (hydraulics damaged or out)
