Tournament news: First of all, all matches have begun. Next is I watch that you are playing more mirrored matches that I expected. No problem at the moment but that could lead to some issues about winning. One match each. I told you here at battlefront that GaryK of Group F has some good ideas about tie breaking. First of all the tournament victory conditions are a bit different and unambiguous. Berlin, Rome, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila, all for Axis, one of these for Allies. In Mirror matches we may have a tied match and in this case we have to watch which player is in better tactical condition. That means better condition overall in both matches. More cities under control more income and better NM values. NM (National Moral) was an idea from GaryK of bracket F. I guess this tiebreaker are worth to try. At least in our group phase. I guess many opponents will scan there matches on their own. If any player admit that he has lost I am happy. But in one or another close match I have to watch your turns. If we need any help we ask a neutral arbitrator. I hope this helps.

Hi players, I will be 2 days off for the upcoming weekend. Watching from now we should have started at August 15th. It is almost a month we wait without a real problem. I wanna apologize for the delay starting the Tournament. If the patch comes out this weekend please start over and don't wait for me. At monday I'll be back hoping for good news.

Hi Minty, yes, there are only a few German fellows playing this tournament. The draw is ready and we only wait for the patch coming out on the first September week (I hope). We play which are 2 games: Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict (base game) and Assault on Democracy (Addon) After starting the games on the draw this week there is only space for playing if someone withdraw. That seems strange to me. Why 8-10? Isn't it the same with 8-9? I meen in that way that the engine count up by itself from 8 or 9 and higher? I always guess you only need the most upper number like 8. Then the engine verify for 9, 10, 11 cause the number 8 is always included?

You find them under address "To" 3 names, one of the name should be yours? I hope... I will verify when I come back home... (What I find strange on this: In Germany many people ask about why data of any kind is given to whom (data economy). In other countries it don't really matter I guess.)

Hi guys, Let the games begin. Below you can watch the official Tournament Draw. The Games begin with a group phase and the best 2 players will reach the next round. Winner A will meet second of group F then and so on. We have 3 Semi Finals and a Big Final with 3 players. In the Final every play will have to play 1 Axis and 1 Allie match against the other 2 Finalist. All in all pretty easy I guess. You have to begin your first 2 matches before 2013-09-16 but you may start from now whenever you like. Contact your opponents on your own and inform me about the day you start. Remember, you have at the most 105 days after starting. I will contact every group after a while. Some guys have some days off, so be kind if you can’t reach a player at once. Waau, really good. Why don't you ever organize a tourny before? OK, I have a different option to all of this and you could watch it soon. One big problem we always have is the time. 1 round will last about 1/4 year maybe more. If you make it up to 4 or 5 rounds (including Final) you have to play more than 1 year. I guess that could be too long. Anyway, I will make it in 4 rounds but your options are worth to make it next time.

Yes, it is not easy to make a real good draw for the tournament. The arguments from Clausewitz and MonsterClaude are substantially of course. On the other side the tourny should not last too long. Now we have 18, 19 players (if I count steel32 as 19th). Over the weekend I try to take all this into account. I have a good Draw of the Tournament now (I hope). Has to be adjusted with steel32 too. Anyway, I verify all players now and we could start very soon.

GaryK and Puma are in too. Great to have some more players in. 17 in numbers now.
