  1. I knew it! OK, I didnt know it, but I very strongly suspected that you guys had planned some kind of ambush with a completely new game family. I had hoped it would have been Fall Gelb or Barbarossa, though (not that I´m complaining).
  2. I just ran a quick test in FI (v 2.11, game engine 4): The 251/2´s do fire the onboard mortars - but there is not visual representation of them being setup inisde the halftracks, as there is in FB. Is this a glitch/bug?
  3. Could be nice, but that sounds more like a wish for CM3, not CM2 engine 5. I cannot imagine that Battlefront would break up their entire game family and module system in an engine update.
  4. I dont know what a "designer mod" is, so I am not able to answer that. Regarding my Commercial Buildings mods (or any of my other mod sets) just place the entire main folder in your z folder - with all the subfolders inside. The game will figure it out. I havent heard of JSGME until now, so I cant comment on it´s use.
  5. Looks very nice. The title made me smile, as "Brinkmann´s Briks" ("Brinkmann´s Couch") is a radio psychologist´s show here in Denmark. Does anyone know if it is possible to download this scenario (and the others in this series) somewhere? Edit: Always nice to spot your own mods (Umlauts Commercial Buildings) in the screenshots
  6. I was wondering, Wart: Are you and Mad Addy in any way related to Wart Addy?
  7. Well, in my part of Denmark we just call it Malmø East and Malmø West
  8. Monty: "Who´s Hyle? And where should we seek him?"
  9. Hahaha. Reminds me of that brilliant scene with the two roman deserters in the Britannia series.
  10. Sorry, I knew they arent brits. But they do look brit-ish, though
  11. @Warts 'n' all Yes, the MGs were all undamaged. I suspect that this might be some sort of bug (maybe just with my game?), because I think I have observed the same thing with halftrack MGs. I havent really noticed before, because I rarely use the MGs as they usually get killed right away. But in this scenario there´s no way around it if you want to win. I dont think I´ll try it as the germans. I think it will be too easy (they are more than twice as many as the brits).
  12. Just finished Facade Troop last night. Thanks a lot for making me aware of it: I had somehow completely overlooked this wonderful little scenario. Result: Total victory with the germans surrendering with 14 minutes left. I managed to get my mortars, AT-gun and Jeep MG´s into enfilade positions and fire along the railroad where all the germans were clumping together. Lovely carnage BTW: Can anyone tell me what´s up with the greyed out MG´s in my jeeps? I thought it meant that the MG was jammed or reloading - but all the Jeep MG´s went grey during the game and none of them ever recovered. They all had rounds left so they werent just out of ammo.
  13. I just ran a quick test in the editor. It seems to be only the M4A3(75)W that is toothless. All other US tanks are fine. I cant find "Busting the Bocage" in my game, nor in the scenario depot. Remember where you´ve gotten it from, Warts?
  14. I mentioned you, because I also use your great "Biodiversity" mods Your bocage pics look wonderful. I had considered making my own versions diagonal myself, but I chose not to because in my experience LOF and LOS are not working very well in diagonal setups. Have you tested this in your maps?
  15. That sounds very strange - in several ways: Firstly, I have never heard of mods that only work at a certain time of day. Secondly, unless my memory is failing (and that is possible) I have only made one scenario for my factory mod set. Could you please tell me the names of the scenarios?
  16. Same here - I still have years worth of CM games that I haven´t played yet. But I can understand if some are getting impatient.
  17. Reminds me of Jimmy Carr asking a West Country guy how many lovers he´d had. He answered: "let me see..." - and then he fell asleep.
  18. No worries. Yes, I tried it for Facade Troop in the setup phase. And as I said, I was able to acquire no matter which unit I put in which jeep.
  19. This is strange. I have just tried myself - without any problems at all: Every unit I place in any jeep is able to acquire ammo from that jeep. I guess something is wrong with your game. It is a bit laborious indeed. My guess is, that it works this way because when you have to place a unit inside a jeep to acquire, then you are completely sure where you are acquiring the ammo from. If you only had to place them next to each other, then you might accidentally acquire ammo from the wrong adjacent unit. But that is just my guess.
  20. What Warts said. BTW, I have a question regarding the recce teams: When I load Facade Troop all the recce teams are armed with two stenguns and one 51 mm mortar. Is that correct? I dont think I have played with the para recce troops before, so I am not sure what they are supposed to carry. I suspect that they might be supposed to carry Bren guns instead of mortars - and I have a faulty install (my game is engine 4, v 4.03 - all modules and packs installed)?
  21. I am not sure how you are trying to make them share? Troops from the same squad/platoon will share ammo when they are adjacent. IE: If a team is out of .303 rounds, it can expend the .303 rounds of a fellow team/squad if they are nearby. But they cant take the rounds with them if they go their separate ways. But you can pick up ammo from the jeeps by getting a team into a jeep and pressing the "acqiure" button. If the team is too large to get into the jeep, split off a scout team, get it into the jeep, acquire and then let the scout team rejoin the squad. Then the ammo will be shared out among the entire squad.
