    Everything about Japanese culture revolves around ritual and sacrifice. The Chinese are also no strangers to ritual in their lives.

    What is interesting to me, is this is a Chinese war movie and Japanese are portrayed as almost human. Especially considering the barbarism they rained down on the inhabitants of Nanking this seems quite generous. There is still no love lost between the Chinese and the Japanese. Seeing these movies opens an interesting window into the current attitudes of the Chinese.

    You are quite right the Chinese do seem to portray the Japanese in a better light than they so obviously could.

    I watch quite a lot of the Chinese, Japanese and Korean movies and they are excellent.

    H2HH Problem?

    Im not really sure why it stopped working, back on the 26th i restarted my computer and when it got to the desktop i would click the H2HH application nothing would happen. I opened 'Task Manager' and went to processes and can see that H2HH runs for about a second then disappears.

    Exactly the same here and this all started happening after a windows update a couple of weeks back.

    For those having problems running H2HH on windows 7. Trying starting up the app by running as administrator. You can do this by right clicking on the shortcut and selecting run as administrator from the popup menu.

    already tried this and still does not work. This is a recent problem and seemed to start straight after a windows update.

    England got beaten by New Zealand at rugby today. Not wholly unexpected but you still feel like kicking the cat :mad:

    Downsampling

    Yes what you need to do is manually add the resolution to the file "display size.txt" which is in the root of your CMBN installation.

    It will probably read 0 0 0 at the moment.

    Change it to your desired resolution and refresh rate eg 2880 1620 60

    Keep your desktop at your normal resolution eg 1920 1080

    You should find that in your other games the alternative resolutions you set up for GPU scaling are available to select, it's just that the CMBN interface only offers the three standard ones or your desktop so you have to do it in the file.
