    I will try the rage tweak app. I am on dsl in england so is on before i turn game on, also have gone into mcafee and made it an allowed program. The actual units and battle is all ok is just all the interface goes wrong. Will have ago but may be a while before i can try again and post back. thanks again for your help

    sorry forgot to add no dialogue box pops up, what happens usually is that i am using msn, I see my mate, i give him the IP address of my computer as it changes with my DSL connection. (cant connect to him hes using pc-cillin another thread lol) I then launch program, have alt tabbed after setting scenario to tell him to try to join.

    Thanks for the follow up. I have an ATI radeon card (9200?) 256 meb bought recently. Are running mcafee firewall and virus. Can play games via hot keys but i am at disadvantage as cant see unit info Last updated drivers before xmas.

    When palying against a friend on the web i lose my GUI and the pop up windows when you click on units to give orders. The buttons still work is just all goes single colours and just have to click and move mouse about till i find it. All 3D graphics ok and when alt tabbing in regular AI play I get no problems????

    When patching to 1.03 the program runs but sasy CD not inserted :confused: , and you only have multiplayer and exit on the main screen? I have the anthology boxed set with cdv web addr on so have used that patch. I have checked compatibilty inder properties of the .exe file and everything is unchecked - any ideas, have tried turning off virus checkers too. I have windows XP but is an update from 98SE.
