This is the tournament site, I will be posting first round match ups here hopefully within a day. You each will be receiving emails with a password that will be used for all six of the Scenarios you play. You also should start receiving scenario's sometime this week, these will be started in hotseat mode, the passwords will be assigned and then I will be sending it to one player with his briefing detached. The second player will only receive his briefing from me at this point. The first player will use his assigned password, start the game from that point and forward it as a normal PBEM. There are 14 players, good luck, and may your pixal soldiers serve you well.

I thank you all for the "comments given" on my efforts so far, lets hear what you say after your matchups. I would like to point out that Kingfish has been kind enough to give me some help and advice. He has also provided a scenario for each month. So please let him know also your thanks.

Zweihorn, I just received the one you sent me Saturday, three day delay, that is something. Anyway I have you now, your in.

Zweihorn, I still have not received your response, double check the address you are using. Also I will tell you to go ahead and send it also to the return address I asked you not to use, it might be getting block, so try both addresses. The reason I have asked you all not to use that address is that it will be disappearing very soon.

Depending on time, I will try to get matches up and scenario's sent out as soon as possible, but I will only Guarantee the 1st of Sept. But will shoot for sooner.

I will start "CMBO-from out of the dust" tread once I have sign ups finished. I will be closing this thread at that time. I will post results and needed information on that thread. Also it will be available for Screen shots, trash talking, AAR's or any other issues with the Tournament.

As long as you have a active email I am fine, working on the email I am sending out to everyone right now.

The original date was at the start of Sept. and this is still the case unless I can get the scenarios in the finished state sooner. A bunch of late interest with new people could make it hard. NOTE TO ALL: This is the last week to request to be be in this tournament, confirmation emails are coming out this weekend. Also the name of the Tournament Is "CMBO - From out of the Dust" seems fitting since some think CMBO is dead, at the moment we have 15 possible participants, looking good guys.

If I were you I would let the geek types help you out in tech support by asking there. Maybe someone will respond out of this group but I doubt it.

dinga 44 You will need to provide email addresses for one thing, I will be contacting everyone here soon. Other than that, you can join. I notice that you are a newer member which is great. Hope you have done some PBEM so that it is not all new to you. Starting the matches can be a challenge at times if you are not use to doing email and the problems that can exist. So a reminder to all, if you are new to PBEM, try and get a few games in so that you have a feel for it.

The three scenario's for round one are coming together and I see I need to be sending you all info. and sign up emails, You all should see something this week.

Scenarios will have pre-selected units, no purchasing of units will be planned. I hope for a mix of topics and tactics in the type of scenarios that will be used. Part of why I have this new scoring system is for the balence question. A scenario might be totally one sided, and you might have the losing side, but if you preform the best playing that side you shall gain as many points as the best player from the strong side. Also if you can actually win with the force, you will likely receive bonus points for achieving that. The AAR's are fun but I am not requiring them from the participants.

Those interested in playing continue to post here, there is no restriction as to the number that can play. The deadline to enter will be the 20 of August.

It appear we have 11 interested so far. So I am declaring it on. This tournament is a go, when I get a chance I will be emailing you all with added Info. and will want to verify that you are wanting to play and commit to this.

Well, with a entree of a $1000.00 U.S. dollars the winner will win a vacation trip to the Bahamas. Since the last I heard , this is free to enter, I am not wealthy with a desire to give large sums of money away to someone for playing a game they love anyway. The winner will be receiving a certificate of achievement and the satisfaction of knowing they have played well amongst their peers. Of course if someone else has a great desire to give away large sums of money or such, feel free to contact me.

Looks like about 6 so far, about 6 more and I will give it a "Lets ROll" Approval. I will not post this on other boards because I am only Registered here, I use them to pull scenario's but that is it. If any of you that use them boards want to mention it, "Thats Great". This brings up a question as to what this New old CMBO tourney should be called, I would like to hear some suggestions. There is also names out there I see posting how they still love this game, But are closet players, not wanting to leave playing the AI, come out of the closet. Even if you do not play well, playing a real person is so much more fun. Win or lose. its time to expand your limits.
