Preparing defences and D day

Italian and German advancing in Greece, one greek army destroyed, armies next to Athenes now... Brest attacked and port bombed. British corps there down to 3. Spain has been dowed. German troops killed a Spanish border army and troops are moving toward Bilbao and Madrid.

July 28 1940 Well, this was a secret operation called "operation Bonaparte"... The english learnt it at the end of the XVIIIth century when Bonaparte came back from Egypte... So, as English are not any stupid than the French and as the Italian Navy is not any better than the Royal navy, the British Queen decided to launch this operation to retrieve Wavell from Egypt... Obviously one of the two statements was wrong ... Wavell back to Egypt... No much else you can see elsewhere ...

Brest port bombed, german scouts start to kill the English there... In Sicily, the British corps in Napoli has been slaughtered, the empty city will be taken next turn... In Greece, a germany army and HQ have been sent to support Italians....

Not much this month, building up forces and defences. Greek armies damaging Albanian garnison.

14 July 1940 A British coprs in Brest has missed the last boat to England it seems... Last call for him, next turn it will be to late... (we'll see if propagand work ) In Italy, one English corps killed, Napoli port bombed for good, a UK corps traped in Sicily. In Greece, Italian are landing more troops and advancing. One greek army destroyed in the mountains and Italian scouts are next to Athenes.

30 June 1940 -Bordeau taken, was emptied by Allies -Palermo port bombed but not enough -More italians corps sent to Greece, the only Greek army is down to 5. The other one is in Africa. -Troops getting ready for the next operations

- Sad navy lose... I did a calcul error, I dont know why but I thougth spotting range of AF was 4... - In greece, greeks attacked Albania. - Germans are preparing an operation in Scandinavia, English getting ready... - Last Atlantic sub spoted and attacked north of Canada

-Paris taken, France surrenders -Rundstedt seny to Italy with some AF and troops to clear the area... Allies are bombing and preparing landing in Sicily. -Italian started Greece invasion... without any surprise they dont do very good so far -Tobruk surrounded but holding so far

We are follwing the same path it seems So some comments, as I tested some of this throught the versions of 3H scenario: POLAND: I chosed a different game interpretation of the historical facts, the game testing of this is the most import part and the style/game time you want german to have in this campain must be clear... FRANCE: France is the hardest part to simulate and I have not found a good simulation setting so far but I can tell some things that didnt work well in my tests: - French starting with a Tank unit. I tried it and its lead to game style far from historical... - Giving French unfinished ships. I finaly removed them as players will never finish them but use them as they are for spotting or just to scrap for MPP. - Also an increase in French fleet size is better with an increase of naval threat. If not the French navy will be scrapped immediatly for lot of MMP. As you already gave France lot of units and a HQ, it migth make France very hard to get... -Deployement of French fleet was mainly in the med sea US Thats an excellent idea Comrade Trapp, I didnt know it was possible without having Us joining... I will study and test this and may take your idea for 3H mod Irak Being historicaly part of this Allies military forces and ressources is very arguable. Despite of ressource, it is the supply/operate link to Russia, do you want it to be Allied rigth away withour any cost ? It will impact strategies and won't be very histrorical... Good to see people making mod, so we have differents games and we will have to get more adaptative to the different scenario instead of just optimizing the same set up again and again Desaix

Cleaning corps around Paris, should fall next turn... Kiregsmarine retreating to Baltic, another Uk ship sunk by bombers... Holding positions in Italy, corps deployed to secure cities, Italian navy staying in ports...

Royal navy moved back fro French and Italian shore. Canadian are still holding Brest. Desert force attacked Tobruk...

The treachous English finaly droped the mask ! These kings ruled countries are a danger to the world... we will bring them democracy ! In France, 3 French armies destroyed, German troops next to Paris now... Big naval battle again in the North sea... 4 British ships sunk... In Italy, Italian army attacked english corps in Marseille. Greeks are just ignored, they dont deserve any better... Navy reinforced in Naples, cruiser fougth back in Venice and sunk an English ship. England has sent a lot of troops to land in Africa, Italian had to regroup all their troops around Tobruk.

Allies turn 6 British ship on French shor bombed everything at sigth... Manstein received a hit in Brusseles. French troop garthering around PAris for the final defence. In the med, one Italian cuiser sunk, some hits on a battleship. French sub having many loses...

Axis turn 7 Prinz Eugen cruiser escaped the British trap... One more British ship sunk and another one down to 1... Channel is English again... for couple of days Germans advancing toward Paris, some French corps killed and some english ones hit... One Panzer have been sent far ahead to check Paris defences...

Despite French propaganda ( ) French are still holding and still hopeing for victory (?)... More corps deployed... Italian vulpture joined Axis... U boat sunk on US coast and yes one still hiding... Trieste Uboat were granted mercy by the king so the navy moved away ...

Axis Turn 6 Battles for Channel control : King George V battle ship and a Bitish ship sunk another sub and a cruiser hit... One Uboat lost int the battles... Channel still disputed... In France 3 French corps destoryed, French mines taken, Germans slowly advancing, no more allies units in LC...

Allies turn 5 One sub sunk in the Atlantic, another one trapped against the US coast... In the med, sub spoted in Triest harbor... Carrier starting training exercies... British landing coprs in France as usual.. No conter yet, stacking corps...

Jan 1940 Another French army killed and a German army advanced in France. Of course Manstein is leading the operations... Hood cuiser sunk in London Harbour by sub, battleships and bombers . Channel is under Kriegsmarine's control now. Italy already at 88 perc, something is happening in the med...

Allies turn 4 Graff Spee sunk, subs under attack, 2 of them spoted but still in good conditions... Some more loses to be expected by the RN. Med sub still not found... Has probably hit a rock and sunk by accident... Defense of France getting reinforced, British land corps every turn...

Graf von Spee battle ship figth back for the last stand of Kriegsmarine in the Atlantic damaging the Royal Oak (to 3)... Rodney battleship, patroling LC coast, was sunk by Lufwafe and Uboat combined action... One French army destroyed and Ardennes taken...

15 octobre 39 - Allies turn 3 Germans have have not yet attack Lc, so still preparing defences of France... In the Atlantic, sub hunt going on, 2 of them found and slightly damaged... One French ship lost in the process... In the med, U boat still not found...

Novembre 39 Another French ship was sunk in Atlantic during allies sub hunt operations... British sub spoted next to Canadian coast. Allies are doing sub hunt with unfinished ships at strengh 1 !?!... Med Uboat killed attempting to escape a British carrier. Denmark surrender. German troops moved to LC... The British corps there is destroyed.
