  1. I bought TOW 1 online when it first came out. I made a back up DVD and unlicensed it when I sold my computer last year. For some reason the DVD back up game is corrupted. I was informed by Battlefront that there is a 1 year download limitation. I don't think there was when I bought it. Now they want me to pay 50% more to download a game I already have a online license for. I was going to get TOW 2 but will never buy a Battlefront product again
  2. Just played the demo all the way. Seems alot like TOW 1, Which I bought and had fun playing all the missions. Was having fun playing CMAK, which I finally got it to work on a Vista computer(still no text), when the TOW 2 demo came out. What I like about the old cm games is that you can play them from both sides and increase the Ai forces easily. Also changing the game is easy in the editor. I liked the TOW 2 demo, but defeating the AI was to easy. Playing as a veteren, I lost 25 men, 1M10 and had 2 Shermans disabled. I used only one air stike, which I reallydidn't need and did not use the additional infantry or M10s. I would have liked to increase the Axis force by at least 50%. The 105's were cool, I moved them to do most of the damage. The AI still doesn't play well. It exposes it's AT guns by firing at target far way and the infantry still has no plan. The best part was in the end when I had to find those last 2 PAK 38s. If there had been infantry defending them I would have lost a lot more forces. I would love to play this game from the Axis side. I really like TOW 2 and will probably order it after I see what the first patch looks like. Here are my recomendations Make it possible to play from both sides and change the AI force levels like CM. The rotation of forces needs to be made easier, a rotate button would be nice. Accuracy for small arms at long range needs to be lowered. would be nice if tanks opened up like in CM, which allows for easier, but risker spotting of enemy. Also, no 50 cals on tanks/ halftracks or Thomsons for Sargents like in TOW 1. Is that historically acurate for this battle? I know making the Ai better is hard, but guns should wait for a high chance of hit before firing and giving away their position, infantry should take good defencive postions and not just charge. Armor needs to use the terrain better. The AI should be good at using the terrain because it knows it exactly and can calculate were to hide and fire from to give it an advantage. I would rather the computer power be used for a smarter AI than better graphics. Just my 2 cents, I'm really glad you are still continuing the TOW line and would love to see a Pacific theater verision.
  3. No, I sold my PC. I am really going to miss BOB play, and designing scenarios ( my ops have been downloaded over a 1000 times at Scenario Depot), but I just got " 1942" and It really smokes on the G5.
  4. I guess I won't be buying anymore products from Battlefront, Sorry
  5. I can't get my CMBO to play on my new G5. It gets to "loading graphics and stops) I see from another post that others are haveing the same problem on Imacs and you need to find a old os 9 system and install it in start up to get the game to work. Is this true? If it is i guess my days of playing CM are over, and I have been playing since it first came out and am a BOB member. Good thing I have not ordered any new CM games yet. I hope someone from Battlefront will respond to this post.
