  1. i can get as far as emailing the file, thats without me having any setup phase.so the dude i know got the file, but didnt know how to open it ,and nor did i.so hows it done again?
  2. how do you send the pbem file, and then how do you open it.(i tried to play a pbem with a dude i know, but we dont know what to do)
  3. ive got Panzer leader;i was a little sadened to learn of the popor leadership qualities of some of the generals(himmler for example), and then when guderian was relived of his post, and when he was on the eastern front and said ''not once was a situation not put right by a timely retreat'', and when hitler sent in panthers and tigers underdeveloped and not correctly prepared(armed without mg's).
  4. teach me how to open the encrypted PBEM file and ill fight ya.
  5. so then whats a real good allround strategy, thats simple and user friendly, quick to implement and flexible?
  6. im new to the game too...full version at least, and ive been practising with 1000pnt quick battles on sml maps as german infantry against american airborne infantry.so when im the agressor, i pick a flank(with the best cover)and setup so that in turn1 that flank is mine, and i use it for really big flanking manouveres.i leave the opposite half, and occupy the centre axis of advance to cover my 'flanking' dudes.it works cause the AI spreads its defence.
  7. humpf...i still think my way is waaay better.
  8. so now I can stress the need to PREDICT a bad situation and withdraw BEFORE coming under fire ,and thus lessen the chance of panicking and/or routing.
  9. a german veteran rifle squad responsible for stopping a polish assault-no less than 80 kills
  10. what you do-if circumstances allow-is PREDICT a strong enemy charge, and than withdraw to cover, perhaps better cover, breaking line of sight ready for a counter charge.that way you can suck opposition forward into a hastily or well prepared trap(or none at all).ive only just started playing cmbo, and usually only play quick battles as germans(they usually don t need to withdraw),but whenever i do withdraw i do it like that.
  11. i agree with not 'feeling' for the british /american tanks.one panther always seems the equivalent of several sherman 75's. (the tiger and panther tanks perhaps , should of been the turning point for the German retreat on the Russian Front.but hitlers impatience in completing the new tanks ended up sending them in early, with substantial uneccesary losses-panthers without machine guns could only take pot shots at infantry with their main gun)
  12. tanks armed with the artillery guns-tank destroyers, JagdTgr. frightfull appearance, really impressive guns and size.supports tanks and infantry. draws enemy fire, freeing up other vunerable units.
  13. wow!!what an idea. all i need now is a credit card, a good bank, a job,be 18, and maybe my parents permission to be ordering stuff in.
