  1. Could you do a AF to AG update. I got used to the smaller downloads. (crappy dialup connection).
  2. Who care's about political correctness, playing wargames is politically incorrect for some. Besides, the "incorrect" pictures would be for the armed civilians and I would like pics for the other civilian units as well. Such as a visuallization for the small, medium and large trucks. Pictures would be nice, forget the political correctness.

    NATO TOE

I have found a TOE listing from one of my RPG Ebooks and I have Cut and Paste the contents, I don't know if this breaks any copywrite, the game is out of print and only being sold on EBay and PDF copies from someplace called Drivethrurpg.com. The TOE comes from Twilight 2000 2nd Edition of NATO combat vehicle handbook, has next to no CSS units and no listing of infantry units (only combat support) after I cut and pasted I noticed that when I went from PDF to text some the lines were out of place. I hope this is useful, if it is I might take the effort and fix the problems. (most of the "ompany" from Headquarters and Headquarters C"ompany" is on the wrong line. Also I only tabbed Belgiam and Denmark. Belgium Remember that these are prewar levels anddonotrepresentthecurrent(1 July2000) condiiion of any unit. APCs are either AIFV, M113, or (rarely) AMX-1OPs. 4. To clarify the program deletes troops when I tried to put more than 6 US inf team (4) on the MV-22 it would delete ALL of the US inf Teams(4).
  5. In a previous post (OK it was a while ago) I wa wondering lamentingly about loading more than one vehicle on an aircraft and was saddened to learn that due to programing limitations only one vehicle could be loaded per aircraft including the MI-26, CH-53 and CH-47 etc. etc. After reading "Attack on Hunger Hill" (yes I know it should be underlined or in italics) by Daniel Bolger about two deployments by the 1/327 A/Aslt to JRTC where they loaded 2 HMMWV on a single CH-47d. I decided to beg humbly to the Major about some sort of change. As I was perusing my thesaurus for words to beg, grovel, etc. I wandered ... OK I found that you could overload the helo's using the OOB feature manually. This only works for vehicles and not for troops. I loaded 4 Weisels on a CH-47 and 2 on a MV-22. When I tried to overload the troops the program just deleated (I was able to put 26 troops (2 Weisel ISC, 6 US Inf teams (4)) I don't know what this will do to the program. All I did was import the OOB and Unload the CH-47 to make sure the 4 Weisels were there using the Trackless Scenario on Map 009. I have not as yet tried a full scenario as I wanted to share my joy with everyone else.
  6. Not an Icon error but I notice that the OPFOR has no dedicated Cmd Vehicles, I know that they (the Soviets) had a "cmd tank" in each plt I'm not looking for that detail but a cmd veh for the Bn and Rgt might not be out of order, even just a command BTR would be appreciated.
  7. I was just wondering why the Wire frame (NATO) icon of the LAV C&C and the LAV-LOG were the basic wheeled mech vs wheeled HQ and Wheeled transport respectively, as is the Australian ASLAV-C and ASLAV-CS.
  8. Thanks, Major I have it now.
  9. Looking for Map245 Major mentioned it was on his site, and I thought I downloaded all of them, but I didn't.
  10. Does this mean that future versions, or upgrades will no longer run on Windows 95 or 98
  11. I did all of that but it didn't work. Then I tried opening the program yesterday and it worked. I'm sure it is one of those "Windows" things. Thanks for all of the advice. >What version of Windows are you using? Windows 98se
  12. Funny thing.... When I double click on Tacops it doesn't open anymore. It shows up in the close program (Ctrl-Alt-Del). Ran fine Thursday. The only thing I did to my computer was put maps into map folder instead of all download maps in "download" folder. The only other thing is that MSGSRV32 is "not responding" when I go to close program after I double click and get no response. I have tried restarting my computer but no change.
  13. Some other changes I'm wondering about... The easy small arms change seems to be missing. And I noticed an additional off-board artillery choice the US 155mm M777; how does it differ from the US 155mm that was there before (and still is).
  14. No I happened to have a faster than normal connection and just waited the 3 hours for it to download, I am looking into "getright" but I have tried similar solutions in the past (i.e. Gozilla) with no success.
  15. There seems to be a change, in the add one unit window double clicking no longer works. I was wondering is that on purpose, because I noticed that the info button was replaced with an add unit button that must be used to add the unit.
  16. Thank you, I was finally able to download the AE patch.
  17. >>>Bad connection perhaps? Sort of, I have a dial up connection that is slow (live in nowhere Missouri, so no high-speed if I wanted to pay the money) that disconnects after 4 hours.
  18. I am having trouble downloading the full upgrade. Is there any way (where) to download the upgrade in smaller pieces. (Upgrading from 405 AU)
  19. Also in AR if you "added one unit" with the two XIMV mortar carriers the game would crash.
  20. Major, I read that in the user guide (one of the smallest sections) but I'm having trouble processing the information so let's see if I got this strait. The Supply Points were added as a SIMPLE form of logistics for those who wanted to use them (I don't think that any of the "canned" scenarios use them) and are SIMPLE by nature of the scale of the game. Coyote, where would that be. With the loss of TACOPS Headquartes I lost most of my TACOPS Links.
  21. Comanche

    Mi-26

Major, Thanks for the answer. From my question I figured this would be the answer but I just wanted to be sure. As the MI-26 would be the only Helo that would be able to carry mutliple vehicles (aside from motorcycles) I say leave it as is, there are other more interesting things on the wish list.
  22. What do supply points represent. Are they just an arbitary system set up for ammo supply, or do they represent a certain weight, size, etc. I notice that as far as vehicles carrying them (log pack) they act as a person regardless of how many supply points they have.
  23. Comanche

    Mi-26

I was running a game and noticed that the Mi-26 would only pick up 1 vehicle at a time (LAV, 5 ton, HMMWV) despite the fact that the hold and lift weight is about the size of a C-130. Is this something in the code (all other Helo's will only lift 1 veh as well) or just an oversight.
  24. It may be me, but it seems that the Airstrikes don't drop through smoke. In a 2 player pitting T-80 ATGM & BMP-3's (Blue) vs T-80 & BMP2's (red) (after reading an AAR (old one) that Blue could not use OPFOR equip), red was caught in the open an hit with 2 220mm MRL Bty's and was followed by airstrikes. The airstrikes came in (was not shot at) and just didn't drop. While this has nothing to do with FACs I didn't want to start a new thread.
  25. AAAVP - According to http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/aaav.htm IOC in 2008 full fielding 2014 this has been delayed from 2006 and 2012 respectively.
