  1. My apologies to Walpurgis and Sivodsi. Had a RL issue and thought I might have to drop out of the tournament. Didn't want to start those two battles and force a replacement to take over my set up. I'm back though and ready to have my rear end handed to me. Turns for Tiger Valley and Loaded for Bear went out tonight. I'll get all turns back as soon as possible when I receive them. Again, sorry for the delay.
  2. Hey Dave, Thanks for reminding me. I have to get those AAR finished up to night. Nothing like the good old days of waiting till the last minute to finish my homework.
  3. Alright you Germans. It looks like I been thrown into the fray yet again and I need an opponent for the Noon D2 battle. Who's available?
  4. Not actual newsreel or war footage but I found the clips on this site interesting. http://www.12hj.com/cinema.html
  5. 3 km west battle complete and file sent to Jason. AAR to follow. That should be it for 6 am. Good battle Akula.
  6. I understand from the email from Adam that the 3 km west battle still needs to be resolved. I have the battle setup. Which German is going to attack?
  7. Has the 3km West battle been resolved? If not send this Russian an email.
  8. Sandy lives in London (GMT) and is having trouble linking up with a player on the German side that has time when he is available.
  9. 6am - 3.5 km West battle versus Michael Dorosh just completed. AAR and file on the way.
  10. After two false starts because of connection problems and then a total power failure at my location the 6 AM East Flank battle was completed. First one down.
  11. Hehe, I've been doing that. Just being lazy and wanted a cool grid so I could just count squares. [ April 16, 2005, 03:50 PM: Message edited by: Platehead ]
  12. Since CMMODS is down, does anyone have a copy of a grid mod that would help judge distance on the operational map?
  13. Count me in, preferably as a junior tactical commander on the Allied side but willing to take on any role needed.
  14. Heard from Michael on Friday. I'm still in the set up stage with him myself. He said he was going to be tied up over the weekend but would try to get turns out this week. Good news concerning my other remaining battle. The replacement, GSX, has been sending out turns. It good to know there are players out there ready to jump into the fray at a moments notice.
  15. Dave, Sent him game file as well. Haven't heard anything back yet, but expect to before the weekend is out.
  16. Dave, I know St. Edouard's was a hellish nightmare that need not be revisited without the aid of some mind altering assistance. (At least for me) But that was our battle. Remember the darkness, the fog, the mud, the explosions, my troops crying out at the horror ... (Er, that might have been me crying out) I've got Michael Dorosh for Moltke and PittPanther for Maleme.
  17. Group 11 Wet Triangle - Game complete, AAR complete Highlanders in Hell - Game complete St. Edouard's Sanitorium - Game complete Push to Maleme - Turn 7 Across Moltke Bridge - Setup How's everyone else in Group 11 doing?
  18. Just a thought. Might have been brought up in previous ROWs. What about adding two more columns to the ROW Group Listing web page? One for the number of games a player has reported and the other for the number of AAR's a player has submitted. I was trying to think of the think of the pros and cons that would go with it. Additional work for the tournament administrators. Players feeling additional pressure to move forward with their games or AAR's.
  19. Installed PBEM Helper. It is very handy to have with multiple games going on a PC. I agree with you JonS about keeping track of the conversation. I can't seem to keep track of what my opponents last reply was unless it's right there in front of me. The play movie feature is nice. As close to watching one full movie as I expect you can currently get. Thanks for the recommendation Diesel and GAJ and anyone else.
  20. Ace Pilot, Do you want me to do a quick edit of the AAR I sent in for Wet Triangle to include the info you listed above and send you the changed version?
  21. Pitt, take your time. There is no bonus for being the first to finish. Or is there?
  22. Ted, Thanks for the offer. I got it from Snarker. Snarker, Thank you.
  23. Ted, I must be looking in the wrong place because I could only find the 1.03 patch.
  24. J2D, Thanks for trying. I'll keep looking.
