So if a bridge is destroyed in the CMBB tactical battle, will it be carried over to the Campaign level.

So are you saying that if a supply line is cut, you will not see a “?” mark indicator on the map.Originally posted by Hunter:Supply cannot be drawn through enemy positions of course, so looking at supply networks may provide clues as to where supply is being interdicted by enemy forces.
Hunter
That seems weird as I would think your supply units would most certainly let someone know that the road to said unit was cut by enemy forces, so incidentally no supply is being distributed.

See, there is alternatives to prisoners .
My tactics reduce my Armors chance to bog , just simply grease your tracks down .
PS:Note the chat window in the screenshot.

Where the Germans troops screening also ?
Combined this with the German superior optics and I think you seen a realistic result.

I was talking about smoke in the game,Originally posted by Markus86:Yes many players underestimate the importance of smoke. So there can never be enough threads about smoke.
What kind of "smoke" are you talking about
-
No, another thread about smoke would be best.

NEVER !Originally posted by Vergeltungswaffe:Never say never. 10 years from now, coding might be so easy that mega-games are all the rage. After all, I never thought I'd see anything like CM when we had to settle for things like CC in the old days.

Shame on you JunkOriginally posted by junk2drive:When you click on a unit you get an info window. In BB and AK on the right is a picture of the terrain that the unit is in. If you click on an enemy unit or last seen marker, and the picture is gone, the unit is dead.

I don’t think we will ever see anything close to CM again.Originally posted by C'Rogers:There is another game up for that title?
BF has already stated the day of including such a variety of equipment and depth of options of whole theaters is LONG GONE.
Every thing put on the market covering WWII will always be compared to CM as a bench mark. Years have past since the CMBO demo, and I have yet found anything that has managed to keep me entertained for even a tenth of the time CM has managed to.
Compared to what’s being release today, CMBO is still ground braking stuff let alone BB&AK.

So let me get this straight,
1) No weapons jams will be modeled
2) No barrel changes will be modeled
3) No smoke other then eye candy will be modeled
4) No building occupation will be modeled
Dare I ask if vehicles bogging down will be modeled

Unwashed masses..................Originally posted by WineCape:Dislike? No. Don't get me wrong. I have some clueless status in there. How can I shun the unwashed masses in there? They look up to moi for some useless advice?
Bah! Useless... clueless... [/QB]
We get it, you learn a new quote, believe me you’re the only one that thinks it makes you looks as a superior intellectual.
You can stop using it now in every post………PLEASE

LOL,Originally posted by WineCape:We have enough of those threads. Please. [/QB]
With out those threads you so dislike ,we would be luck to have three threads going at one time on this forum.

I would really be interested in how the CMBB map will generate/look in relation to the campaign map, and how closely the relationship will be.
-
I don’t understand all the drama with the release date.
I mean who really cares when the release date is. I have been playing CM since the early CMBO days and have been dreaming of the day that BF would develop a serious approach to the campaign short comings.
Well here it is in living color, A way to play out a campaign on CMBB (my fav of the three BTW). Of coarse I want it now , but do you really think its productive to start a thread that the game is vaporware.WTF is six months to a year more, get serious you will as every one else still be playing CMBB by then. Look at what’s being released out there that is trying to compete , is there a better alternative to CMBB that I am not aware of?
What is the point, do you really thing the developers are going to look at this thread and say to themselves, Ok, the forum members go our number, just give them what we have.
But I do agree with the sediments of the forum on the issue of total lack of updates, be realistic , no one is so busy that its hard to find the time to type a few lines once a week to their loyal fans.

Well maybe me a Whaco can spar off another round for your entertainment to spice this thread up,Originally posted by Becket:This thread needs more    and face-melting TNT.
at least he is funny.
After reading this forum I now understand why RTS is a four letter word in the hobby, and it has nothing to do with the game play.

I got to admit the Windbag comment is funny.
