    You obviously never played any Harpoon back in the day (or that modern update, CMANO), read Red Storm Rising or heard of the brutal Cod Wars?
    The GIUK gap & Iceland were, in some ways, more strategically important than the Fulda gap during the Cold War.

    You are confusing 'hunt' with the (in my opinion) superior "move to contact" order of CMx1.
    The Dev's advice was misguided. For most house clearing situations, "quick" is recommended by veteran players (there was a recent thread about this in the CMSF2 forums).
    I agree the 'hunt' command is dodgy in CQB situations & perhaps the Devs did not originally intend it to be such (in which case we can agree the behaviour is "bugged").
    However it's also been like this for a long time... hence why I only use it when I'm expecting distant small arms fire (so, for me, it's a "move to contact" order NOT a "move to grenade range" order).

    Interestingly, I think the old "move to contact" order from CMx1 should more properly have been called a "Hunt" order & the newer CMx2 "Hunt" command renamed "move to contact".

    FWIW Over the years, I downloaded everything on the Repository - except perhaps mods that were only of use in the editor for designers, and H2H scenarios (as I never had time to play H2H).
    So, am confident that Bootie and CMMODS IV will be able to offer a comprehensive list.

    I see three answers to your "problem"...
    (i) Keep the scenarios & play them.
    (iii) Keep the scenarios but don't play them.
    (ii) Delete them to ease your "worries" & free up a few gb.
     
    I feel you'll have to make this momentous decision on your own.

    I know right! Could you imagine the pain & horror of playing the Marines campaign with a burning Zu-23 technical haphazardly left on a map somewhere?
    War IS hell... but simulating war shouldn't be.

    I'm currently developing a campaign for SF2 (base game - no modules), in which I try to do things a bit differently than the stock campaigns.

    I think it will have about 8 missions.
    I'm looking for feedback about bugs, oversights, and especially balancing issues.
    I think I will be able to release a test version this weekend (23-24 Feb.)
    Would anyone want to help me out?

    I've been watching videos of Abram tanks firing so there's that to do. Not all the tracers are done (though red & green for CMSF2 are), I'm still not happy with the explosions (I can see HerrToms problems with them).
    I imagine i'll want to wash my hands of the project within a week or so.

    I've been playing around with the special effects recently & I found, because gunfire doesn't kick up enough dust & debris, that the firefights just look terrible, & kinda absurd, without tracers.
    I'm hoping to find a happy balance between immersion & believability...

    One other tip, if you happen to have no vsync but still have reshade, you can turn on one or two expensive but not particuarly noticeable effects (say Ambient light) which will decrease your fps below your monitors refresh-rate.
    I started turning all vsync off deliberately, as an experiment, only very recently... but my results are pretty positive so far.
    Remember, half refresh rate decreases the size of your "high-detailed visual bubble/draw distance"... a considerable drawback of reducing your fps too much.

    I had an issue a month or so back where the Nvidia settings would only work for CM after a system reboot & CM was the first program you started.
    Whatever it was seems to have gone away.

    Yeah... it take two different curves & two different blooms to get that effect. I also use some vibrance & a film grain but, although the grain looks cool when playing, it doesn't seem to record too well (I'll drop it for any future night movies).
    I've also today figured out how to use the lift gamma gain effect to recreate Ramblers green-o-vision effect... so now the nightvision mode can be used at any time.
    Another thought I had today, was perhaps I could put bright pixels on uniforms which will then be picked up by the blooms & help represent those strobes I see soldiers often wearing during night actions...
