  1. I've noticed the same thing but unsure what the issue is... I too assumed it was a mod.
  2. Last time I heard from him he was dealing with real life issues... he went "missing" for a few months last year also, so I'm hopeful he'll return soon enough.
  3. I've not had that issue but every once in awhile my cursor disappears (this seems to be somewhat more common whilst playing at higher resolutions)... I press the windows key, then click back to the game & that resolves the issue. However "half the time" sounds like a bigger issue.
  4. The dropbox is still active... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1tviryry89g6py7/AAAJpSvGH6u1iEx4WzwVLSnJa?dl=0 Here's the link for the CMSF2 African Forces mod... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1tviryry89g6py7/AAAJpSvGH6u1iEx4WzwVLSnJa?dl=0&preview=CMSF2+African+Forces.zip
  5. Playing the 'Joint Venture' scenario by @afreu alongside the "All in One"... ... I originally thought this was a scenario by @Combatintman however a google search made me aware of my error (they have a very similiar briefing style though). It was great fun, a really brutal scenario. I am slowly implementing a "rudimentary vehicle weathering" technique for the CMSF2 vehicles... so you can expect an eventual update to the pack later this year.
  6. It should be possible, @Aquila-SmartWargames did something similiar (importing the CMSF unit models into CMSF2). I might play around with the idea one day but suspect you'll have issues with normal bitmaps (which aren't supported by CMA unit models).
  7. Cool map. I have a "Chora inspired" map* which I intend to box off at some point this year, I think @Hapless might be working on one too. *Based on a heavily reworked version of @Pandur's original "Red Stream" map.
  8. In addition to the untagged Winter mod, I also rustled up a "replace Americans" mod using textures by @Valkyrie Yukikaze.
  9. The ME Soundscape features greatly subdued non-combat sounds (environmental sounds like wind as well as voices, footsteps, vehicle sounds etc) so might be what you're looking for... there's a customized version for each game packaged with every 'All-in One' here.
  10. IIRC many scenarios & campaigns require the British module.
  11. For those interested, the first version of the project mentioned above was released earlier last year...
  12. Good job on the scenario(s)! I did quickly rustle up an untagged winter mod for CMBS (using textures from CMCW & @SeinfeldRules), so you can immediately give a more wintery feel to your scenario if desired*... It might be an idea for conent creators to start adding a suitable tag to their scenarios to help differentiate between the 2017 hypothetical conflict & the 2022 real one. *The CMBS scenario editor is suprisingly flexible for a summer game... temps can be dropped down to freezing.
  13. One of my ongoing side projects (aimed, mostly, at the new influx of Steam Players) is to host an 'All in One' for every CM game here. This is my initial effort for CMBN & its primary feature is a large collection of weathered vehicle & guns mods (almost entirely by @Aristoteles & @umlaut). It also features terrain mods by @SeinfeldRules, @Falaise & @patboy. UI mods by @Juju, @Marco Bergman& @Mord alongside loading screens by @umlaut. Infantry mods by Vincenzo21, @Damian45, @Vein, Jacquinot, @EZ, @mjkerner, @Jorge MC, @nik mond& @Aristoteles. Building mods by @Tanks a Lot & @Juju as well as the ME effects package, ME soundscape, subdued @Taranis& HQS voices plus many others. It has integrated & default early summer & early autumn (using the [holland] tag) options as well as a couple of zip files which can activate a late autumn & late summer look. Additionally it comes with a vast quantity of content (hundreds of scenarios, scores of maps & 20 odd campaigns). Here's a taster of some of what you can expect... Here's the link for the CMBN 'All in One'... https://www.mediafire.com/file/bplqhvfkl4da5pq/CMBN_Initial_%27All_in_One%27.7z/file
  14. Again, playing around with @kohlenklau's & @Suchy's mods & content...
  15. Hi @dragonwynn, someone on my channel said they were interested in playing your campaign with the appropriate mods so I was hoping you could provide an updated modpack link?
  16. It should always be remembered that Liverpool & Manchester, each with very distinct accents, are only 35 miles apart. Even so, TV & radio has 'smoothed out' a lot of the old dialects... https://www.wimp.com/patrick-stewart-recites-a-poem-in-his-native-yorkshire-dialect/
  17. @mjkerner might already have made what you're looking for...
  18. I have, vaguely, started some preliminary work on such a modpack (which is what the Tidbit showcases). The original CMRT Stalingrad (generally untagged) & [Umlauts factory] modpacks do still work, the only issue is that Fire & Rubble introduced the [autumn] tag which automatically activates in September (originally in CMRT, September was a Summer month) and all of the old urban battle content (including the two @dragonwynn campaigns) were set in September This has some unintended consequences with regards terrain, snow tags, doodads, tree, bush foilage & some uniforms however, tbh, it's all very cosmetic.
  19. Coincidentally, I too have been having some fun with the Stalingrad content by @kohlenklau, @NPye, @umlaut & @dragonwynn...
  20. This past month (on & off) I've been playing an old CMSF scenario (I believe by @nuzrak)... ... I found it to be a nice little fight.
