Ok.. just tried to upload my kursk movie to youtube everything seemed fine and dandy untill the upload process was complete than this.. error: Failed to publish your project to the web. This may be an internal issue with the video hosting service provider. damn! jus cant win ! :\

Ok, well i tried using microsoft Movie maker first, many moons ago in april/may, but there was worse issues with that than my current program(Video pinnacle spin-trial version). Windows movie maker would only recognise 1 out of 3 videos i was trying to place in sequence. Odd indeed Fraps does record in AVI.. since my last post some of the new videos i have made have worked viewing them in AVI before placing them in2 sequence in video pinnacle spin but they didnt have sound... only 1 video i recorded out of 8-10 worked when placed in 2 my kursk movie.. it didnt have sound either but it was a scenic shot so i used it with music over the top.. anyways guys thanks for your input much appreciated, I will just try uploading what i have to youtube.. then post a link here I'll find another way rnd this issue ps so to update codec is that just like downloading a patch for FRAPS or something yeah ?

Ok, yes! that is what i mean, I've made half the movie in ( cant remember patch number b 4 caen DLC) in standard kursk - then downloaded caen & installed - made more FRAPS vids 2 make second half of my kursk movie but they dont seem to work when drop and dragged in2 sequence for the movie, they wont play at all.. I'm guessing the most likely answer is that they are videos made from different versions of the game so they arent compatible when stacked together for a 5 min movie do u get me ? - ps I'm using a program called video pinnacle spin

hello, Well it would be safe to say i already kno the answer to this question but i still was curious of other ppl's thoughts Before i had finished making a kursk movie I updated the game with the caen xpansion because i was to impatient 2 wait untill i had finished making the movie, knowing full well it will change the version of the game. But i wasnt sure if there would be problems using vids from old version with new version in FRAPS.. i cant keep making vids & apply them to fraps because the caen version vids wont work with original pre-caen version vids in fraps...understand ? so my question is.. ther any way to make 2 differing versions of the videos work together in FRAPS ? so i think i might just turn what ive got in2 a movie without finishing it could always make 2 seperate movies i guess... thanx!

indeed, combat mission artillery system 4 tow2 would be great.. ps i use 2 play the SS series aswell all those years back, best RTS multiplayer games ive ever had, sooo many units on those 256x256 maps - however i think the 3rd game, Arms for victory wasnt as good as I & II

only on first mission for caen (map is nice & big), still waiting to see some SS infantry.. ive only come arcoss SS tank crewmen soo far & well hidden 88's in hedgerows.. no German campaign is defenetley a tad emotional.. :*(

i couldnt agree more, this is a very frustrating aspect of these awesome games.. i only own TOW2 kursk, after i purchased it when it was first released, i was very naive and assumed all these great fantastic new patches etc would come out for it and make the game bigger, better and badder.. but this isnt the case... a patch or 2 then move on to the next installment of the same engine... I didnt exactley have a porblem with this at first because i didnt think i would have to pay 4 caen. Great games, but ****.. alot more attention to detail with patches etc before pumping out more games that are so good yet seem to lack so much ! - still deciding on caen

Hello, well i'll try 2 keep it short, In the last few days ive come across a problem where i cant load saved games under the battles tab in options, that have been created via mission generator... When i click the load button it just stays stuck and i can still move the cursor but no other option tabs work.. thus resulting in a reset because i cant alt + tab out of the game or alt + cntrl + delete.. very frustrating while trying to work on my next kursk movie which is 75% complete... :*( anyone else had a problem like this at all ? ... maybe a re-install ? if this is the case, & i have a digital copy does this mean i need to re-download or i should have an installer in my kursk directory ? thanx

i played all the sudden strike games, they were awesome days, i wish u could have as many units on the battlefeild in TOW2 as you could in SS series

Thanx! Yes it was a custom battle. Recorded with fraps. I cant remember what map, due to making it months ago. I did it with the res on highest setting which coursed some trouble considering fraps lags out the game to an extreme extent. I had to record about 3 scenes to get 1 with good frames , to keep the quality good.. i was very happy with result

i think this little gem needs more urban maps, the 2 urban maps i have played so far were awesome. Hunting muj through tight alleys and narrow streets and vise verser is great gaming
