  1. Copy that, I have most of it on a thumb drive now.  Good tip on the "Copy" vs move aspect.  I just finished the map.  If anyone wants a copy of the Master Map let me know.  It is a HIGHLY DETAILED 3632x1296m map you can use Head to Head, or for whatever.  Took me about a month of creation.  Just PM. its like 915kb.  Just the map.  The Scenario itself with AI on both sides hopefully will be done in the next month.

    Cheers.

Sure just save it to your Quick Battle Maps folder...But beware that it might be selected for random single player battles and will have no AI plans (& thus not work).

I also make a copy of my own maps in my Master Maps folder (if you don't have one, just create it in the same directory as Scenarios & Quick Battle Maps)...I tend to stick the prefix [Map] on my maps to make it obvious that they are not a fully fledged QB Map or Scenario.

Thank you Sgt. Squarehead,  so basically if I have an AI plan for both sides it should work in the random single player?  If I get what your saying you can save the .btt file and send it to the directory.. save it as"Map.scenarioname" or the Scenarioname.Map?

  3. Hello Battlefront Community.

Say, I have been working on an Italian map for over a month for a scenario that I hope will be out by mid October.  I was thinking since the map is so detailed and great for H2H play, is there a way I can save just the map for H2H play?  So players can play on HUGE detailed map.  Seriously I spent over a month detailing this map and want others to be able to play it on a H2H level and also when finished enjoy the scenario.  I know the Scenarios are .btt files but never saved a map to also be played H2H.  I took about a year off so a bit rusty.

    Thanks,

Not firm numbers, no. It's tough to test - you'd want something that could run at least hundreds or perhaps thousands and accumulate comparative data that way.

We do know that experience level has many effects in-game. It does affect the speed of spotting, the speed at which spotting contacts are shared, firing accuracy and the rate at which you recover from suppression, at least

    Right on thanks.

  5. Say this may be an old question but does anyone have any 'Stats" on the difference between Green-Elite?  I was just wondering what the bonus, or minus was.  I was screwing around with some "Elites" in SF2 and it seemed only at night they had the edge.. probably due to NVG's.  So did a day-night test... they do seem a bit more accurate, as well as the troops in WWII modules.  Was just looking for some hard data.

    Semper Fi.

  6. I also noticed another strange thing one more explosive.  It seems if infantry are next to a tank and it fires there is a possibility of them being injured or killed... I am not savvy at making videos but has anyone else seem to notice this, I never really had to worry about infantry in front, or near my tanks before when firing.

  7. I to keep getting save issues.  Its a crapshoot if it saves a game in the Campaign and I can go back to it.  I mostly just save the hell every 5 minutes.. I think there is an issue if you overwrite a save.  It is an issue but work around is to just save the hell out of the game often.

I posted a screen pic, never seen these temporary files before.  I did a clean install with no mods.

Probably not but possibly. :) Lots of models in the game were tweaked including the soldiers. So, the majority of those mods will not. There were changes in the UI too. I think the only thing you can do is try the ones you like and see if they work.

First question what are you trying to hit? I have not had occasion to use them much in CMSF but in CMBS they work quite well. To deal with a MBT I usually call for three rounds for an IFV two is usually enough. It is not unusual for one or two to miss the actual vehicle. For IVFs close is normally enough while for a MBT you need one to hit if you want it more than just immobilized.

Indeed Black Sea is much more precise, in fact Im good with it as I think in Shock Force2 that possibly the equipment is not as up to date.. is what I would like to think.  But I had been using a FO +2  in a command Vehicle Stryker variant.  Also on station was a Drone giving the intel.   But that being said, I am ok with the results they are close just out of almost 30 rounds or 15 attempts (2 rounds precisions per shot).  none hit the target.  BS is much different.  But I feel the Allied forces are already pretty overpowering to the Syrians for the most part.. unless they are ambushed or just plainly have overwhelming forces.

  9. Couple questions... or at least one.   Will most CMSF mods.... UI and vehicle work with CMSF2?    Secondly I noticed that precision ARTY rounds... have yet to actually hit anything.  They come close but I tested.. and over 28 rounds fired... not a single hit using a +2 FO.  So I was curious if this was an issue or maybe we are talking waste of US tax payer dollars.. LOL   Anyways have an awesome day.
