  1. Well sort of...

I used AndrewTF's (the Great and Powerful) mods to create Overcoats worn over tunics for winter wear. The hard copy figures do not allow for these coats to go full length so they are too short. That said they look pretty good. By far the most common winter wear for all armies was the greatcoat. I use in late war Italy and, sometimes, in ETO.

You be the judge, they look like this:

  2. Patboy,

The do-dads are those rock pieces which stick up in the picture (much like grave stones, brush, etc.). Now that I 've told you what you already know... You can probably find some fine grey and tan ones that Vossie did (I think). But some new snow ones are definately in order. But there is nothing to match your greenish/greyish rough terrain. I can give you the bmp #'s if you wish.

  3. PzIII,

I've used TomCMGHQ's winter mods for a long time,

but I was looking for snow that looked more patchy, less established (either just falling or melting or both)and muddier. I can remember the look of the first snow falls in Minn. when I was younger. I've just finished both Italian and Bulge patchy snow mods, benefits of having a week off and nowhere to go,

    look for them soon.

  4. Patboy,

All righty then, you are on the cusp of doing the perfect light snow mod. I took your dirt mod and renumbered it for snow and blizzard and got some pretty bitchen results. If you're dirt areas were made more "snow like" you would have made the best light snow mod out there, especially for Italy and with a little more snow for Bulge. There are tree bases out there (not pictured below) that would do the trick. Tom and Uncle Tgt have done some low res stuff in the past, but I think you are the future! Pretty dramatic yeah!

OK, look at the picture and think what you can do.....

  5. This is a warm up for a bunch of Christmas present mods for the community (shrunken down though it may be).

    Anyway,

Luftwaffe Mech troops without camo. Perfect for Sicily/Italy 1943 (mid war). Lots of options.

    Look like:

Tiger I early with Lt Green Overspray camo. I use for late war (1944 - '45) Italy. Looks like:

Bunch more coming for your Holiday enjoyment.

    Enjoy,
