  1. Patboy, Thanks. Happy New Year to you too. David
  2. Patboy, Rough terrain do-dads: Summer: 2130 and 2131 Snow: 2530 and 2531 They are also miniturized to show "rocky" terrain so are doubly important. DavidI
  3. Well sort of... I used AndrewTF's (the Great and Powerful) mods to create Overcoats worn over tunics for winter wear. The hard copy figures do not allow for these coats to go full length so they are too short. That said they look pretty good. By far the most common winter wear for all armies was the greatcoat. I use in late war Italy and, sometimes, in ETO. You be the judge, they look like this: and, Enjoy, DavidI
  4. Patboy, The do-dads are those rock pieces which stick up in the picture (much like grave stones, brush, etc.). Now that I 've told you what you already know... You can probably find some fine grey and tan ones that Vossie did (I think). But some new snow ones are definately in order. But there is nothing to match your greenish/greyish rough terrain. I can give you the bmp #'s if you wish. David
  5. Patboy, I respectfully suggest that you need to make the do-dads for you rough terrain that look well with the new textures. DavidI
  6. PzIII, I've used TomCMGHQ's winter mods for a long time, but I was looking for snow that looked more patchy, less established (either just falling or melting or both)and muddier. I can remember the look of the first snow falls in Minn. when I was younger. I've just finished both Italian and Bulge patchy snow mods, benefits of having a week off and nowhere to go, look for them soon. DavidI
  7. Alte Fritz, Yes, except for the Panther G - there is an issue with the top deck, that I didn't address. DavidI
  8. Please perceive the plethora of pretty Panther Packs provided for your pleasure - Especially you Der Alte Fritz. My many thanks to MikeyD for his bitchin mods. Merry Christmas to you all, DavidI
  9. Thought something different for Italy - Light Snow for Italy 1944-45: Just about done. Not perfect, but.... DavidI
  10. Pat, I agree. I haven't finished the open ground yet. After that's done it's off to trees, tree bases, etc. David
  11. Taking matters into my own, inept, hands - WIP Comments? DavidI
  12. First of my Holiday releases. Stug III G mid, late mid and late, done on MikeyD's bitchin mods, with tri-camo Paint: and then snow covered: Lots of options for both packs. Enjoy, DavidI
  13. OK guys, one more appetizer and then down to the main course. Snow covered JagdPanthers in Green Overspray and Tri-Camo. Done on MikeyD's bitchin mod, they are companion pieces for an earlier release. Look like: Enjoy, DavidI
  14. Patboy, These are all very nice mods, most will find a home in my games. DavidI
  15. Patboy, All righty then, you are on the cusp of doing the perfect light snow mod. I took your dirt mod and renumbered it for snow and blizzard and got some pretty bitchen results. If you're dirt areas were made more "snow like" you would have made the best light snow mod out there, especially for Italy and with a little more snow for Bulge. There are tree bases out there (not pictured below) that would do the trick. Tom and Uncle Tgt have done some low res stuff in the past, but I think you are the future! Pretty dramatic yeah! OK, look at the picture and think what you can do..... Hopefully, DavidI
  16. This is a warm up for a bunch of Christmas present mods for the community (shrunken down though it may be). Anyway, Luftwaffe Mech troops without camo. Perfect for Sicily/Italy 1943 (mid war). Lots of options. Look like: Tiger I early with Lt Green Overspray camo. I use for late war (1944 - '45) Italy. Looks like: Bunch more coming for your Holiday enjoyment. Enjoy, DavidI
  17. Patboy, If thats very light snow terrain it's perfect for Italy '44. I'm off to check it out, comments to follow for sure. DavidI
  18. Pat, Keep 'em coming. I particullarly like the winter one. DavidI [ December 18, 2007, 06:56 AM: Message edited by: David I ]
