hi all, any 1 know how to make a vechicle with smoke dischargers discharge! and I`m currently in a pbem with a halftrack axis and its main weapon is a flamethrower 50m range, how do i get it to torch building? it only ever seems to use its machine gun and i dont get a 'use main gun' option as i do with tanks. Hi , Just installed my special edition version of CMBO, also I put on the additional senarios included on the bonus disk. My question is this, I`d like to play them in a logical date sequence. From the begining of the war to the end. Are they listed in the right order? Because of the additional bonus stuff I`m getting senarios from the end of 1944 at the top of my list and an 8 turn battle based on a TV show called 'combat' this is fun, however I`d still like to go in date order. Can someone please tell me the first few battles in the game so I can see if they appear in order on the list. The tutorial level is first. Thanks in advance Dave

Yes I also had a sherman taken out buy a volksgrenader squad, but I have failed to take out a tank with any of my US troups

is there somewhere I can get a translation of the above? because I don`t understand it! dave

can`t really help with the technical stuff, but if turn based gaming and good simulation is your thing, just buy the full version, I got mine for 4.99 on amazon, worth every penny. I am not associated with anything to do with Battlefront, just think its great, hope you get your demo. Dave

Thanks for the info Jason, now if I can only figure out how to stop my Shermans dieing everytime theres a brick thrown at them! When I`ve finished CMBO I`ll definatly be buying the other games. Dave

Yes , I`m playing CMBO , well, not exactly yet, I have the demo on the muter, the game is stored at a friends where I cant get to it until I finish a project I`m working on , otherwise .... So I`m not into the full game yet, but that doesnt stop me getting into the forums ! Thanks for the replys, and I don`t know what covering arcs are , your right.

Still at the newbie stage, however I`ve searched the back forums for advice and didn`t come up with much. Could you tell me the best way to lay an ambush against the computer? I set an ambush point using a CO (it might be a HQ can`t remember), anyway I hide my squad in woods, then before I get them to pause for 60 seconds, at least I think it is because the pause clocks up to 45, then when I hit P again the time of pause dissapears.n If the units are hiding will they automaticly hold fire because I`d like to do a whites of the eyes thing but my MG or infant. always seem to open up on the enermy before I want them to dispite the pause. Any suggestions please. Thanks in Advance

Any luck yet with the movie machine? I`ve got the full game now but I`m holding off until I finish my work at the end of Jan. Tough but the forums keep me going!

Hi , thought I`d just say welcome back, even though I`m waiting on the full version of the game to turn up and have only played the demo version so far. Managed to get a total victory against the allies on vally of trouble yesterday. I usually have to drag myself away from the thing around 1 in the morning! Hope to play a real game soon as the AI is getting a bit easy to beat now. Next time I`m gona play chance encounter but leave my shermans behind just for the crack!

Thanks for the reply, I`m surprised no one has worked out a way of doing this though, it was one of the things I first thought of when playing the game that I figured would be a good feature. As I`m joe average is there not a high demand for this?

Hello all, I loved the demo of CMBO and am awaiting my brand new full version, I have a queston that has been posed before but as yet I don't think has been answered fully (Ive checked a lot of older threads) Is there a way of linking all the movies together ? anyone know how ? Also I cannot run dowloaded senarios on the demo version ! No fair ! I`ll just have to wait for the nice shiny cd to come through the post! Nice to meet you all anyway, look forward to learning from a few games in the near future. Dave
