  1. I think I see derbis after crash(?) into ground after AA fire once (maybe just from multi-bombs) as I knew there are no target on that "crash" site as I was unaware about rare event. I wish I can hit screenshot save. We can do test it with editor and play repeat on huge map with plenty flaks and some planes with low damage points to see if any luck catch seeing a shot-down plane crash into map.

Uhhh...I don't think civilans will hang out in middle of war site. If I see one near I will order down lay down and tell them to keep hands away then check them for hidden handguns, grenades, C4 vest and else. Sometime fighters will shed weapons and walk around as civilans fool to US soldiers then will go to weapon cache to get some more weapons. I don't think CM have interest model civilians. Also most Arab building are too cheap and so easy replace.
  3. I don't think radicals group have enough men to manned all T-72 tanks but few as most Syria national may will use most T-72 against radicals group.

For Terrain and Enemy: I was think of build extra heavy armor assult bulldozers to take some buildings down as radicals may change their mind about try luck kill many marines and run out building as bulldozers creep on them. I am sure US will happy to afford and help building new building to replace loss as can not want lost marines. US may afford building special designed 10-20 extra-armored bulldozer as it is too simple than battle tank and so easy to train crew. Maybe they can fitted with special long strong pipe for ram in and generate tear gas in, pipe in stun grenades, flame (flamethrower), music and even rubber chickens (look real) with hanging sign from their neck said "bird flu". LOL

    Okay, we will wait.

The current secular regime cooperates with the US and pulls back from its borders. It gives the UN/US permission to seek and destroy radical groups along those borders. The radicals decide to occupy the major cities and overthrow the government. THe US/UN assists the current government in removing these undesirables.

Are the US/UN going to bomb friendly cities first? No.

It is not like a "London bombing" with dumb bombs...just attack bunkers where radicals hide out with smart bombs plus weapon platforms manned by radicals even maybe hidden WMD sites as possible Syria goverment ask for US/UN help and offer in exchange for get their nation back from radicals takeover. Again, I am so sure there will have multi Hellfire-armed UMVs patrol over hostile area to pick leaders, supplier, and whatever out plus special force snipers with 50. rifles take care of them as US/UN may not want lost more soldiers to terrorist bombs. I don't think radicals can take whole Syria nation as I am sure Arab nations will send their armed forces to help Syria Goverment out as US may not interest in send more ground force in to aviod US and Arab public angry.
  6. It got me confuse...that information is about war between Israel and Syria however If US going to attack Syria, they use bombing campaign from air against "keys" targets for a week or two then ground force go in. Ummmmm...Also I am sure spy recon may already do often even with CIA help as US may already knew where all stuff are to attack to destroy to make US ground force easier go in. I am sure that in 2007 US force may have more advanced UMV flying stealth drones in tiny size to give US ground force all seeing eyes. I wonder if CMSF have spy drone?

  7. I am bit confuse and how good it will be since we already have Ghost Recon with MOD Syrian to play. (I know it is different way to play) Also Ghost Recon 2 will come out to play in Middle East as well we have more PC games base on fight at Middle East. I feel bad for some International players who like play different national like Finland, Hungary, Romania, Soviet, German, USA Britian and more. Unless if we can create campaigns in Middle East from 1948 to 2000 as many nationals had been there.

I wonder if "China Beach" have any comedy in it or dark one?

I was thinking of "I dream of Jeannie" even it not much show Vietnam theme but in same year.

Finally one, One of show that always on tv show when I was little kid and always see boot camp Sgt. yell at goof-off soldier all time....Guess what? "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." I found a interest line when I checked that website for Vietnam comedy theme to confirm my suspect.

"CBS executives ordered that Pyle remain in training indefinitely, and not be sent to the Vietnam War, to preserve ratings" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomer_Pyle

and good website about Gomer Pyle http://www.timvp.com/gomer.htm

I bet some of you get weird sudden flashback to past to time we saw it on tv. I never forget that one.

It should be interesting to see if Japanese can win even lack of suitable armors against Soviet as I want to play it but may hard to market it if stand only then if add to Pacific war then still hard to market it due to many may not want play on Japanese side. Maybe we should have a poll with 2,000 to 5,000 members' vote to see if they will play as Japanese. We may need some best candies to attachment buyers to play it. Plenty of people enjoy play as Japanese on PC game "Heart of Iron 2" however will they play as Japanese down to ground on battle field instead of look at colorful regionals?
  10. Andrea,

Oh I forget that one as I wish that we have "shoot and scoot" order for anti-tank crew as other one mention that one.

I don't think anti-tank crew will want bother "beehive" if see 18 tanks near but will attack if see lone tank near as other in distant range. I did make crews hide and hold fire until I can be sure they will be able to escape after attack. If fight in city, they can escape easy.

  11. I have trouble believe how quick tank crew fire back after direct hit depend what kind of tanks. It will sure stunned them bad as round bounced around inside after hit I am talk about early as 1940 model that they never have tank battle before much as little they learned from WWI they saw in near end of war. Of course, they learned much and improve late as 1943-44. Best example, I am talking about effect inside tank after hit by rocket with HEAT warhead. Try picture yourself inside...will your vison still good? Inside get blacked as get blind by flash and feel burned.

To some readers, Do you want me explain more what HEAT is? I am sure 80 percents of readers know what it is...but I am not sure if they knew what exact happen to crew after hit by HEAT. It is like giant welder...very hot jetstream with melted metal as like volcano blew up inside in under one second.

I watched tv history channel as men talk about be in Sherman and faced to Tiger, they said they will see their friends' Shermans that got hit by tiger's 88 sometime before and peek inside to see if they can find bodies to but nope as just shoes and dogtag. Maybe some stories edit out as may too graphic on family channel.

Then in future, everyone will hate you for plant too many mines cause many children lost limbs as they wander around. It is sort of unfair in game.
  13. My idea...how about program software to only fire one anti-rocket at target and if it got hit then hide or attack new target? I don't want waste some good rocket if see direct hit on target as we knew that rocket's HEAT warhead are deadly enough to destroy target.

    Cheer
