Heh is that the bovington Tiger They have a great website on its rebuild 2 hours to go through. If i can dig the link up ill post it. should be easy to find on a search engine though. Ps they have got a king tiger and a jaeger tiger if memory serves which it usually dosent.

I dont Know about recrewing abandoned vehicles but my current PBEM adversary has a great line in crew forward observers even got a single crewman from a disabled stug to pin one of my anti tank guns for about 30 seconds. fortunatly a nearby crew of mine killed him by then. It all depends how you play if you want to send your crew on a march through enemy lines to weed out his hidden units or not, Im in the not camp and leave them in cover or ask them to leave but you cant legislate against the desperate.

Have you checked that the weather is clear, This seems to allow aircraft purchase. In addition ive found that AA guns are not available sometimes when the weather does not permit air support. very annoying when you want 88 flacks for anti tank work. Hope this helps if not then change dates.

Thanks that sounds fast to me but maybee Im wrong. Of course the M36 could have uprated rotation gear but it was better armoured and carries a heavier gun. Anyone know the traverse speed of an M3 sherman for comparison. :confused:

Could anyone advise me as to why the M10 Gmc has a slow turret. As far as I understand the M10 was built with M3 components and had its armour lightened to increase speed. This would suggest the turret had less Mass than an M3 with the same rotating gear. Which should produce at least comparable performance if not better. The extra mass of the 3" gun cannot be the cause of this slowing as the M3 76.2 mm has a fast turret the same as the M3 armed with a 75mm. If indeed the M10 did have a slower turret rotation speed who in the world designed it as it is inferior in tank hunting to the 76.2mm armed M3. Any advice or comments would be welcomed especially as playing British forces limits 3" gun deployment to the M10 GMC. Cheers
