  1. Well, I do see .50 Cal from an M8 AC (for one example) shooting at a Panther's Front at distance (several hundred yards) while Panther is buttoned (happens all the time in 'Barkmann's Corner'). Also, keep in mind, if your Armored Vehicle was unbuttoned before it buttoned back-up, then it could still receive residual Small Arms fire for an Action-Cycle or so...Just like how Small Arms firefights peter-off (after an Action-Cycle or so) even thou the enemy contact is gone. Another thing I noticed; unbuttoned Armor, AC's, HT's, Trucks, etc that disappear will leave an Infantry/Crew Icon associated with the Armor Icon (2x Icons...one Armor, one Inf/Crew)...So, when that unit becomes visible again the enemy Small Arms will open-up on what it last remembers as the 'Inf/Crew' Icon. Basically, it's part of the Game coding that, maybe, could be addressed differently.
  2. Al thou, BF, may represent Quality Shortcoming of Late War German Armor, I wonder if they also represent the Quality Shortcomings of Allied Main Gun Ammunition...Thou, there is probably enough randomness factored in Penetration vs. Armor that it levels out in the end.
  3. Hmm, my guess, it may be in the next Module for Late War (Module to end of War on East front).
  4. Shh, there was a debate on how relatively easy T-34/85 Bog in CM in Bad Weather...
  5. What, DragoonofDark, is trying to say; "Thanks all for guiding me in the right direction to download and activate the game..."Now that I got the game working, here are some game mechanic questions." See, Dragoon, a little thanks go a long way :-)
  6. I also tend to agree as I have had that happen to me, and to the enemy, at great distances all the time...It's as if 'Hunt' is no different then 'Move' when getting spotted.
  7. Go into Battlefront.com, Log-in, then click on my Orders, then click on Order ID, then click on the http:\battlefront.sharefile, then click on the Game Folder that is yours. Joe
  8. Yeah, I just did a Quickie or three: (2x Squads: Reg, Motivation 0, Leadership 0) Open Small Map with Good Weather, Mid-Day. Attacker Squad Hunts in Open vs Defender Squad in woods a couple hundred yards away. Attacker was receiving Small Arms for about a Spotting-Cycle (didn't drop to prone), but next Spotting-Cycle it spots enemy Icon, and finally goes prone (suppression meter starts to hit yellow).
  9. Yeah, for some reason I thought they also dropped Prone when incoming fire...Thou, what I'm probably seeing is that the Friendly will get a new enemy Contact (after several seconds of incoming fire) then finally drop prone (all the while having its suppression run-up). If that is the case, then I also prefer the idea to have troops immediately drop prone from incoming fire (and not wait for an enemy contact or full suppression meter)...At least do so when the suppression meters goes up slightly (one-bar).
  10. Actually, in v3.0 Troops tend to go prone almost immediately when taking fire...However, in v4.0 they tend to fulfill their movement within the current Action-Spot/and New Spacing (which could take several seconds) before dropping prone.
  11. This,... Yeah, I have also pondered this same issue ever since I started playing CMx2... Thou, I feel things already happen too fast in WEGO, and with RT even more so...However, WEGO & RT need to play roughly at the same level if similar Combat Results are to be expected...As it stands, WEGO & RT play almost like two completely different Games. So, do you give more Options for WEGO, or less for RT for Balance purposes ?
  12. DO YOU WANT TO PLAY A GAME ?..
  13. "Send More Brains'...Err, I mean get back to making some more AAR's, there Wales of Josey :-)
  14. I know if BF ever made a WWII CMx2 Platoon Level Game System (like the one that was in development for CMBB back in the CMx1 days), then I would be on the Band Wagon.
  15. Umm, DK, where do you get the idea that FI is like some sort of expansion to BN ?...If anything FB would be a more closer candidate. Actually, SubCmdr, and the more I think of it, CMFI+GL Bundle should be your first CM WWII choice as it will give you the greater choice of Combined Units for the West Front (also saves you a little cost compared to the BN Bundle)...Of course, try and get all the WWII titles in the near future.
  16. Nah !..Life is too short, and just get whichever WWII game and all it's Modules now...Of course, if you need a PBEM Oppo, then look me up :-) Joe
  17. So, even clicking on any CMBN Product or Upgrade doesn't bring you directly to the 'CMBN Installer' ? Yeah, if all else fails, then contact Tech Support directly.
  18. Did you also try and download the 'CMBN Complete Installer', then use the 'Activate each Product' to see what happens ? I purchased CMBN CD's since v.1, along with Patches & Upgrades a long time ago (installed them 2-3 times over the yrs)...I remember having a similar issue with CW or MG, but also can't remember what I did to correct it...Just might have been the 'CMBN Complete Installer'.
