Will all the CMBN and CMFI maps be redone when those games are upgraded?
-
The only portraits in the new brz files are two polish ones.

Combat Mission Battle for Normandy: "Market Garden" will be available for Download, Mail Delivery or both Download & Mail later this summer, exclusively from Battlefront.com!
Summer ends September 22.

Turns out PayPal had some issues. Martin fixed it up nicely.

Two hours? You're lucky. I bought CM:A almost 24 hours ago and have yet to receive a confirmation e-mail. My support e-mails have gone unanswered as well. They must be short-staffed this weekend.

I think some people are confusing lens flare with sun glare. I like sun glare in games. Lens flare is silly, at best.

Well, for me it adds to the "my eyeball is a camera instead of an actual eyeball" feeling.

Notwithstanding the asshats around here , I just uploaded a mod to GreenAsJade's Combat Mission Mods Warehouse that should help. Look for it under CMBN author 'Stirling'. This is the same one Vinnart referenced.

This dead horse is nothing but a bloody pulp now. Will everybody just give it a rest.
-
I believe it's time to quit beating the dead horse now. Sheese.

So I download the CMFI demo and use the hotkeys.txt from that. Now my hotkeys all work. Seems uncharacteristically sloppy for Battlefront patches, but I'll let it pass just this once.
-
I had the hotkey problem too. Some of my hotkeys were not showing up in the game the way they were definitely set in my hotkeys.txt file.
What I did was simply copy the hotkeys.txt from CMFI into the appropriate location in CMBN, and all was well. Everything in the game is now set as it is in the hotkeys.txt file. (My hotkeys are the same in both games. In fact CMBN doesn't seem to care that it now has "Target Briefly" from CMFI in its hotkeys.txt file. It ignores it in-game.)
I suspect that simply copying your hotkeys.txt from CMBN to another location, then copying it back into the original location (effectively overwriting it with a new copy of itself) might produce the same result.
Would anyone care to try this and report back?
Nope. Didn't work. I also tried renaming the alternative file. The game still doesn't recognize my keys under the 'S' or 'A' tabs. I know it's reading the file because when I remove the file, all the hotkeys are blank in-game.
-
Most of my previous key settings are correct, but the keys under the 'S' tab don't seem to be reading from the hotkeys.txt file.

I'm not easily impressed, but...Wow!

There's no easy way to do anything in the repository.
-
So, am I missing something or is this a bug?
All my parameters are random except for battle size (tiny or small) and forces (mixed). And I usually play as Allies.
-
Is there a known problem with QB battle lengths? I have them set to one hour, yet they always end up lasting two if there is no surrender.

I saw a 52-page book on Amazon called:
"Battlefront Games; Combat Mission, Down in Flames, Strategic Command, Combat Mission: Shock Force, Strategic Command 2: Blitzkrieg".
What the heck is that?

Hooray for adequacy!

Anything Battlefront does for this program short of a total re-code is just lipstick on a pig.

I'm using 177.92 Vista with a 9400gt and don't have fog. I'm assuming dx10 is the problem.

It's starting to look like a DUKW.

Can it be used to clear mines?
Or is it pointless like in CMSF?
